big with: anthony collins, martinez, slam, norman nodge, deetron, charles webster, luciano, rhadoo, shlomi aber, matthew dear, len faki, kiki , jimpster, ryan crosson, dj w!ld, brothers vibe, seth troxler, gorge, seuil, nick curly, laurent garnier, anja schneider, karotte, djulz, 2000andone, adam beyer, robert dietz

on the prowl launches their new sub label with otp party breaks 1. nyc house legend marcos cabral from runaway (dfa, rekids, im a cliche, wurst, chinatown, mule, etc) solidifies the backbone of whats to come. expect nothing less than to hear the sound of the current wave of nyc dance music with upcoming releases featuring nyc artists that we know and love. lifetime groove (marcos cabral & shux edit): on side a marcos teams up with chinatown records partner in crime brennan green to rework some roller boogie magic. the result is an epic twelve minute adventure, jam packed with balearic overtones and dubbed out feel good vibes. an instant classic! lonely (marcos cabral edit): on side b, he shows how simple arrangements can ignite the dancefloor. classic deep house track sampled and looped up...bursting with tension over eight minutes of chord stabs and repetative saxophone flurries. this edit has been notoriously canned across the globe in many runaway dj sets, now available for the masses.
more percussive layered grooves from layo & bushwacka! this time in the form of >the longest day<, a deeper house track for the discerning amongst you. >can i feel the vibe?< - we certainly hope you can when this one growls out of your speakers. on the b side, olmeto take great pleasure in welcoming mirko loko to the growing list of remixers working on tracks for the label. having made great music for wonderful labels such as cadenza, desolat & planet e, mirko takes this release a stride or two tougher - he locks the groove and just keeps it rocking…absolute precision.
played and support by brothers vibe, gorge, mendo, acumen, nick curly, felipe venegas, jackspot, ptoile, monoroom, martin eyerer, someone else and many more. his successful releases and remixes were published on labels like kiddaz fm, spinclub, cecille, 8 bit, session deluxe or glückskind. his tracks got remixed by world famous artists like marek hemmann, billy dalessandro, nick curly, chris liebing or tom pooks!! first move is helmuts typical fragile minimal tech-house funk. a sweet lullaby with mantra like vocals thats too minimal to be tech house and far too funky and sexy to be minimal. and helmut is never satisfied with doing things like all the other producer around do it right now - he is always looking for the little things thats different - so expect a surprise or two if you are listening carefully. cut b1 is so typical for helmut again you would know without any doubt where these funky track comes from. reminding of his old classic dub la chord or his yellow tail release this is his typical cleaned up tech house with his own vocal snippets you just cant get enough of.
played by: axwell, paco osuna, technasia, patrick chardronnet , gregor tresher, stephan bodzin, popof, alan fitzpatrick, umek, brothers vibe, paul oakenfold, mihalis safras ...
exciting synth disco by roland sebastian faber. mr faber deivers some high quality timeless synth compositions as we heard from him before on this lovely cult label aube records! mr faber produced music for many wellknown pop arists and this is his personal fetish project that gives him the space to go crazy on his analogue synth collection and high end studio gear. comes with beautiful artwork of emi schultz (kraftwerk designer)... this is one of those releases that will not create a big stir among hype press and blogs... but most definitely it will make many people very happy! a great piece of electronic disco, 70s french synth pop. great artwork, limited edition of 300, high quality 180 grams vinyl! future collectors item!
this is zhenya aka proxy. i am proud to present my brand new and very own label mako records. i was thinking about this idea for more than 3 years, about the possibilities, about a mission, general genre and other stuff, blah blah blah... actually, i hate all this press release shit...
so the first release is coming. its by a very promising producer called marseille. i know him for a long time and he is a good friend of mine. marseille already had experience in making cool productions, under which great remixes on raven and who are you...
and now it is his time. time to show everybody what the true russian machine is.
enjoy it or you will be killed by kgb, hahaha
mako records is born... and we are ready to invade!

starting the year off with this cracking deep ep by our new guys on dirt crew, the runners ! after their extremely succesfull first 12 inch in the beginning of last year which featured the stunning jay shepheard remix they are ready to deliver the next dose of classic house grooves that range from deep house to the more techy edges of electronic dance music. the four originals on this ep alone stand out and keep dirt crew recordings headed towards the future of true deepnes. but as we are real purveyors of soulfull rolling beats we had to add once more one of our favourite producers in the scene to do a remix, this time its our friend from barcelona soul minority who has gained great respect with his cool deep house records over the past years, especially his latest releases on pack up and dance were amongst our most played tracks last year. so here you have it! a great start and there is more coolnes to follow this year! stay tuned and stay deep!
the affectionately titled ep, >der kleine elefant<, intends to tell its listener the story about a tiny elephant who is on a huge journey through mountains, deserts, seas and forests where he hunts to fi nd food and water for survival. in each encounter through the magical land, the small animal meets mystical creatures and watches in amazement at the stunning landscapes he finds himself wandering through. each track sounds like a modern day nursery rhyme and our elephant, the hero.
played by tiefschwarz, laurent garnier, tobi neumann, d julz, karotte, nick curly, margaret dygas, brothers vibe, anthony collins...
excellent groovin deep dubby techno!
a couple of weeks ago some records were delivered into our warehouse in error. i put one of them on the turntable, preparing to ridicule it. how surprised i was then when it turned out to be as good as this. when i tracked down the label owner and asked him for sales notes i was sent the following:
>sales notes: limited to 200 copies worldwide.<
techno music without hype, as it should be.
brut! records baby sister label, pop!, sees its second release with popnonames spaces. an eclectic line-up, including joerg burger, freund der familie and paid for fame, remix the original three times over to offer a varied perspective of the same brave track. revving its engine, spaces drives you to experience things. it invites you to crack yourself open so that through that voluntary rift some new future might pour. bold, beautiful and formless it emerges, washed in a golden light. a baby nebula, perhaps if you are lucky, cradled in the spiral arms of a distant galaxy patiently building mass as it clumps gas and dust together. the important things often creep up silently…recognized only once they are there, even though you had given them no shape in your mind prior to their arrival. space gives possibility to what these forms might be, boundless in four-dimensions. its that expanding medium that allows imagination to roam without end…where the need to distinguish between what you know and invented evaporates and flows pure and clear as an ice cold stream.
black vinyl limited to 100 copies with handmade details.
12th release by semantica records comes courtesy of ideograma and acid future overdose. they present >exobiology<, a world of electroid idm in 6 chapters.
toolbox is gideons third album, in the line of many to come. although the minimal hype has surpassed this is minimalism from a techno point of view. no bullshit sounds, just straight up minimalistic techno grooves. inspired by guys like richie hawtin and robert hood, gideon has twisted this knowledge into something of his own. very different from his last album on kanzleramt called >need no permission<, this album focuses on tool tracks. and that is off course the title explanation. toolbox is an 8 track album in the line of gideon his first minimalplus release trias politica. 8 pure danceable tool tracks that a fit for any techno minded dance floor. toolbox will be released on 2 separate 12 inch records minimalplus 010 and minimalplus 011 each containing 4 songs.

one the one hand, we have the aspirational producers schäufler & zovsky, who stuck out with there releases on acker records and finger tracks. furthermore we have the talented berlin dj team kollektiv ost, who are well known by their label simple as that records.
what a start in 2010!!!
right now is a bit of a lost record that has never officially been released as a single but managed to make its way onto jt donaldsons dj mix album and mark farinas house of om compilation on om records. now the record is being given the recognition it deserves by being released as a single on rebirth records with a couple of hot new mixes.
one of the most in demand tracks from the >technique< album finally gets a full single release complete with re-fixes from prosumer and kruse & nuernberg. ernestos vocal fully lends itself to the prosumer soundsignature, his mix floats and weaves around ernestos vocal, peaking around his own chords before stripping things back to bare essentials and rebuilding like only he can. the kruse& nuernberg mix is hypnotic, percussive old school house music at its best. they take a small snippet of the vocal and build the groove relentlessly until the whole room is shaking. achim brandenburg aka prosumer lives in berlin where he is resident at panorama bar, weaving together the finest blend of soulful house sounds. an expert in classic chicago house and detroit techno, his first release was in 2004 on 240 volts, followed by playhouse and ostgut, where he released his debut album with murat tepeli in 2008. separately, hamburg based florian kruse & nils nûrnberg have created some of the most interesting deep house around in the past few years, with early highlights incl nils >caught a glimpse< on 8bit, and florians >love hurts< release on om records. since then, as solo producers, but more importantly together as kruse & nûrnberg they have climbed closer to the tree-top with their unique brand of mouth-watering underground house.
bangin uk prime time techno! truesoul starts 2010 with a strong return to form that stands proudly next to recent releases by adam beyer, cari lekebusch and joel mull. debuting on truesoul in 2009 with the emotive sky is falling ep, dustin zahn has received critical acclaim for his work on drumcode, rekids, and his own enemy records. a keen experimenter with sound and style. the restrained tension that runs through this ep is testament to zahns desire to evolve techno beyond the norm.
pattern repeat is a new music-project and label by kenneth christiansen, echocord & echocord colour label boss, and his partner dennis bøg aka resoe, running the baum label. the pattern repeat label will only containsproductions from kenneth & dennis, and the music is focused on the modern berlin techno sound today, dubstep and dub-techno. pattern repeat will also release records on other labels, so far the first one is out on echocordcolour. kenneth and dennis met eachother 8 years ago when they worked together in at that time famous copenhagen-record-shop >loud<, which closed 5 years ago. at that time dennis was more into broken beat, hip-hop anddeep house. kenneth was already running the label echocord, and soon dennis started his label baum. the label baum is also like echocord, releasing dub-techno, and dennis started to release his own material as resoe, andbuilded up his studio the years after.1 year ago we decided to try to do a new project together, working together in the studio, and now pattern repeat is born.
tevo howard is the new unsung hero of chicago house music! after his debut 12 for hhyr move, tevo now delivers a six track double pack. all six tracks are warm, emotional, raw, hypnotic, long and deep tracks and take us back to the original vibe of chicago house music. though his tracks are heavily inspired on the early days, his productions sound very crisp and ‘today. we love tevo!
introductions ep, part 1... marks the initiation for the moscow records imprint and the launch of a series of eps to feature on the label focused solely on introducing fresh, young, creative producers to the scene. in part 1 we are proud to introduce two exciting new london talents in archie hamilton and alexqbit, alongside the berlin based greek producer keinton. the ep is perfectly pitched for the morning dawn that follows the long northern winter nights, with warm latin-grooves drifting into deeper soundscapes and subtly euphoric builds. released as 200 exclusive limited edition vinyls!

after the success of >mostro<, the french wonderboy play paul - mainly known for his works on kitsune, gigolo (>lalaland<) and craft music - is back on absolut freak records with >9am<. the ep starts with a massive remix by the german sensations disco trash music (freshly signed on the label) which will smash your head, until the break... everybody say yeah! back side, the most exciting turkish band gooseflesh is also back on absolut freak (after their remix of dro & lodzys >now yet now< on the af13) with a powerful version in their own style. a killer! then, the original version by play paul takes you to a lovely journey, with a warm melody for melancholic mornings. you can enjoy the artwork made by the incredible falk klemm from the german collective the zonders. get freak!
as summertime comes, exprezoo records squeezes out the best of its crew for a fresh release: youll probably remember george kranzs >din daa daa< (trommeltanz)... this is just a modern reinterpretation by the exprezoo guys that comes to life through a bootleg vinyl with a very limited 100 copies.
the first mix by alexxei n nig, is a dancefloor killing reconstruction of the beatline, keeping most of the original voices. the 2nd one by decoside, takes you directly under the sunrise with a deep soulful synthline and a fine jazzy groove. the 3rd one by quike is a very well working tool keeping the central voice to introduce a pumping reprise
incl. rmxs by antonelli & drei farben house
easy house grooves and deep, chord-driven techno – two versions of electronic music paulo olarte is particularly interested in as he has proven with his records on diynamic or his own imprint fresh fish. for his first 12 inch on frankfurts new entry, polytone, former hamburg-resident olarte gives full scope to his perferences. >vayas donde vayas< comes with a wonderfully housey feeling and a rich fund of harmonies, whereas >sweet sugar< plays the role of the techno bouncer for the tradition-conscious and discerning dancefloor with its deep detroit flavour. in his remix of >vayas donde vayas<, antonelli concentrates on the lightness of the or iginal and moves towards a maximum of funkyness with a mulitude of thrilling details. drei farben house rounds off the remix flip side with one of his long suspense arrangements he has come to be known for, which sends us to house heaven when the fine chords eventually fully unfold. polytone remains one of the most interesting, diverse newcomers of recent times.
big with martinez , loco dice, karotte, gregor tresher, jimster, johnny d, audiofly, lemos, antony collins, nick curly, gorge, ray okpara, marc romboy,.. welcome hector & pablo cahn to the 8bit family. based in london and already known from releases and remixes on mobilee, crosstown rebels, supernature and cadenza the 2 djs and producers do their first release on 8bit records. hypnotic arrangements, catchy vocal snippets and rollin basslines dominate the tracks and create pure energy on the dancefloor.
warning! this material contains explicit experience of heavy industrial sonic pressure by jason little. some listeners may be shocked or it may provoke inappropriate panic confusions after listening whole album. control the little man - is offensive and it s being handled only to highly skilled djs. datablender records advise you to consult with your sound engineer before putting needle on the record.
after the huge success of glitch, the last single from missill on citizen records, missill delivers us her new ep chuppa! an original version - fully electro and uncompromising. the ep comes with a bunch of remixes to fade any dancefloor, the fidget/kuduro version from manaia & the more clubby delivery from stereoheroes & mustard pimp, the electro dubstep from tambour battant & the tropical minimal version from edu-k.
toolbox is gideons third album, in the line of many to come. although the minimal hype has surpassed this is minimalism from a techno point of view. no bullshit sounds, just straight up minimalistic techno grooves. inspired by guys like richie hawtin and robert hood, gideon has twisted this knowledge into something of his own. very different from his last album on kanzleramt called >need no permission<, this album focuses on tool tracks. and that is off course the title explanation. toolbox is an 8 track album in the line of gideon his first minimalplus release trias politica. 8 pure danceable tool tracks that a fit for any techno minded dance floor. toolbox will be released on 2 separate 12 inch records minimalplus 010 and minimalplus 011 each containing 4 songs.
following a number of remix works from olmeto records at the close of 2009, our first release of 2010 puts bushwacka! back in charge. two sublime house tracks with masterful percussion both dripping with style.
>battered< paves the way with tribal rhythms, flutes and chants whilst >sw4< takes an edgier electronic route. olm026 showcases two very different sides to bushwackas personality, both of which are supremely relevant on todays dancefloors…
way ahead of its time and quite incredible to imagine such a modern sounding record could have been made so many years ago... this cult new wave/dance cover of the doors classic was taken off the first of the two long players that la synth band moebius (not to be confused with german electronic maestro... dieter moebius of cluster and harmonia fame ) released on moonwind records, 1979-1980.
nice price deal !!! official release !
mind-blowing singles, eps, remixes (for the likes of simian mobile disco, little boots, royksopp, lykke li, au revoir simone…), a quickly-growing label (fondation records), and the night is his in most of the worlds major cities: danton eeprom had it all, to the exception of a long-playing record. after making a name for himself with hits like confessions of an english opium-eater, grindhouse or face control, it was time to go off the beaten path and show the way once again. would he go for a fairly logical sweat-ridden dancefloor riot? not precisely. not only. danton would make a revolution of his own, in dandy mode.
three words that will soon be on everyones lips: yes is more. in a cloud of smoke, over a tight booty beat and keys delving deep into thirty years of electronic music, the french londoner sings for good and is all axes out on >thanks for nothing<, making things clear from the very start.
body electric has been in very high demand for years. steen gjerulff made this obscure gemm back in 1984, it was only released on limited 7inch. collectors and music lovers has been diggin after this fantastic release for years. now moustache records proudly presents this masterpeice on 12inch for the first time ever. flemming dalum teamed up with steen gjerulff and made this project come true - even with brand new special extended versions. now feel the magic electronic! this power release also contains the ultra rare 5595 track, an out of this world and time futuristic cosmic electro gemm that rocks your socks off for sure... modern space dope sound on top non stop. limited, full colour sleeve and cutted by the only cutter ome lex in this world that still cuts totally analog...
back together once again, the production powerhouse that is lake & lys return to rising music for another piece of peak time, dancefloor madness. humanica picks up where la tromba left off, a huge track featuring a harmonica played by dirty vegas steve smith, backed up by driving synths, heavy percussive drums and the trademark sawtooth lake bass line. sloane, on the other hand, is a classic old skool groover, chords stabs reminiscent of classic house records push the track, while vintage drum machines are perfectly juxtaposed next to modern pad sounds, all combining to send the dancefloor in to old skool ecstasy.
big with: loco dice, raresh, richie hawtin, reboot, gregor tresher, mathias kaden, jimpster, davide squillace, anthony collins, julietta, konrad black, nick curly, afrilounge, justin drake, meat, sebo k, gabriel ananda, steve bug, tiefschwarz, martin eyerer, djulz, shinedoe, brothers vibe, m.a.n.d.y., simon baker, karotte ...
classic chicago house tracks with vocalist paris brightledge (who had a huge hit on dj international records in the 80s). pure house xtc with vocals that sometimes reminds us of romanthony! orginal versions as vocal and instr mix and a blazin remixes by wayne gardiner and tomson & benedict! essential release for those who are into the prescription sound (ron trent) and romanthony. warning... only very limited supplies... tip!!!
ilya santana originates from the canary islands (spain). he started to discover his passion for music 20 years ago, while his father was listening to alan parson, vangelis and giorgio moroder amongst others. 15 years ago he started dj ing around all the clubs in gran canaria. not long after that he started producing his own stuff. his first release was on balihu, daniel wang s label. in the meantime he also released records on tirk, permanent vacation and gomma, and remixed artists like human league, the phenomenal handclap band, lindstrom... now we are proud to announce ilya s first release on eskimo, burning jupiter. it s the predecessor to his artist album coming up later in 2010 and showcases perfectly exactly why we wanted him so much to join the eskimo family
right on the heels of aux-records enthusiastically received 1st release featuring very contemporary revisits of the 1950s classic >fever< by franco cinelli and club rayo, this 2nd chapter of the aux-rec project travels to different eras, into different styles. and this is precisely what we had set to do: zig-zag through dance music history in search of personal favorites and classics to be revisited or refreshed. for the present release, we travel to two distinct dates: 1989 for the a-side, and 1979 for the b-side. two tracks that are 10 years apart, but that both share a fiercely upbeat and affirmative musical profile, as well as a certain ageless, core, compositional quality.
hailing from sao paulo, wehbba is one of the latest additions to brazils techno ambassadors. having contributed heavily to tronic in 2009 with an ep and his acclaimed rework of jim rivers full tilt track, wehbba is headlining the inaugural tronic treatment compilation to be released in february. wehbbas talent as a dj / producer have taken him on a worldwide journey that has seen his powerful, rhythmical and emotive productions appear on some of the scenes most influential labels including global underground, get physical, great stuff, audio therapy and urbr.
sweet spot sees wehbba push a housier sound from previous work, focusing on swaying beats and a deep-edged ambience. the sweeter mix toughens the groove and takes the track into more late-night territory.
brother keeps the vibe of the ep on a deeper tip to complete this fresh sounding ep. centered on an epic groove of building chords and sweeping vocal refrain the dancefloor punch comes from a heavy pulsing bassline.
fumakilla launches the new year with a banging, excellently produced 12 inch from the pen of valenzuela / casarano. after their outstanding debut release >otra vida< on fumakilla, which was played and charted by numerous top djs like jimpster, luciano, brothers vibe and onur Özer, just to name a few, the two chileans now drop >aneninema< - a classical ep with 3 magical tracks. the a-side starts with >santi< and its instantly starting hypnotic pumpin groove. with >flaca< the two prove their musical talent with loads of charm and soul, besides the track flows vitally through its latin roots? on the flip with >aneninema< they combine and link all these ingredients to create a >groove deluxe< that wont keep anyone standing still in the club. feel it , play it ,love it
marcin czubalas track titles are starting to closely mirror his career path. like a swift gazelle czubala bounces back and forth between mobilee records and nick curlys 8bit recordings, leaving in his wake a trail of triumphant releases. >zoo comunale< springs czubala back to mobilee after the success of his >minskaya< ep on 8bit, and jumping in the cage with him is none other than well renowned artist hugo. an impressive discography and busy touring schedule have made hugo a reputable name in clubs around the globe. as a fan of his jazz educated, funk inspired sound czubala approached hugo to collaborate. the subsequent intertwining of these two musical animals produced >zoo comunale<, its bouncy grooves and hypnotic loops tinged with a bit of funk. animalistic stuff. >zoo comunale< is comprised of two tracks, a-side >zoo comunale< and b-side >no tu no<, as well as a digital bonus track >polita<. every track has its own unique twist, each proving perfect for dance floors world wide. mobilee says welcome to the zoo, and enjoy!
