He started to discover his passion for music 20 years ago, while his father was listening to Alan Parson, Vangelis and Giorgio Moroder amongst others. 15 years ago he started DJ ing around all the clubs in Gran Canaria. Not long after that he started producing his own stuff. His first release was on Balihu, Daniel Wang s label. In the meantime he also released records on Tirk, Permanent Vacation and Gomma, and remixed artists like Human League, The Phenomenal Handclap Band, Lindstrom... Now we are proud to announce Ilya s first release on Eskimo, Burning Jupiter. It s the predecessor to his artist album coming up later in 2010 and showcases perfectly exactly why we wanted him so much to join the Eskimo family
