almost 25 years have past since his first release, yet >the true story of house music< is the first time elbee bads catalog gets compiled for re-release. although the best and most prolific part of his catalog is his late 80s and early 90s output, booker never stopped producing (and djing). he is currently residing in berlin, from which he still manages his studio and travels throughout europe to dj.
prior to the compilation we release a vinyl only sampler which features two exclusive and previously unreleased mixes of two tracks which are to be found on his only solo nu groove ep, from which we took the title of this compilation.
this is another winner from the true history of house music.

michel amato aka the hacker is without a doubt one of the most successful and accomplished french djs and producers. since 1992 he is part of the international techno szene, widely acclaimed as a solo artist as well as persuing thriving projects with miss kittin. he is a rare gem ... an artists who always stayed true to his style and his early musical influences of bands such as cabaret voltaire, throbbing gristle, einstürzende neubauten, depeche mode or joy division. for his new satori ep on correspondant he makes no exception! originally hailing from mexico, daniel proclaimed disco caveman and rising comeme (matias aguayos label), transforms michels white funk into a psychedelic disco track. the remix unmistakably bears his signature: it is a maloso. offsets remix is a crawling monster. he digged deep and the result is a dark and hypnotic remix of white funk.
