you may have listened to fred de f productions with recent dance artists collaborations (adi-ermane - need each other, fred de f & luke jeferson - sankukai). new release cloud is still marked with fred de f touch and a distingtive radioactif musical flavor.
fred de f original version is progressive, ultra-bumping, inspired from spanish soundings. the version releases body-heat and energy. great track for dancefloors. tom donax composes an aerial remix and explores a different universe: breakbeat soundings, vocal inspired from the nineties and presence of pads break the rhythmic bringing the record a nice equilibrium. cool version for a home listening.

his first, and arguably best album from the great rozenblit catalogue lovingly restored in its original format on limited lp, re-mastered from the original rozenblit master tapes. in 1968 tom ze moved from salvador, bahia to sao paulo where he hung out and wrote with his friends gilberto gil and caetano veloso. although initially part of the tropicalia movement, ze was extremely independent and determined to forge his own musical path. he started by recording grande liquidacao, a hyperactive pop album backed up by two incredible psychedelic rock bands: os brazoes and os versateis.

tommy walker 3 has been hiding for a while now, after releasing a slew of material in 2008 (including a release on the sadly defunct dissident). now hes back with >dance music clubbing<, and with a name like this youd probably expect this ep to either be a bit off the wall, or unintentionally awful. we are glad to say it fits into the former category, offering an ep of colourful elastic space disco mixed with a more classic vibe. opener >disconnected< sets the tone with its 80s, verging on hair metal guitar riffs. >mwj1< impresses with its almost seinfeld-esque slap bass, and synth piano stabs while >errational< is characterised by its wonky synth melody and spaced-out laser gurgles. finally >v brains< melds driving live bass with huge slabs of cosmic squelch. if you like your disco fierce, this will definitely be worth a look

and are a duo living in manchester, uk. they have released a split 12 inch with 16 bit on mindset in 2009, the second 12 inch on black sun records that came out recently and a couple of 12 inches on horizontal ground. they sent me various batches of tracks spanning a wide range of sounds, all rooted in techno to my ears but spanning different tempos, emphasis and mood. i selected three of those tracks to appear on this ep, ranging between 130 and 135 bpm. >sooner or later< by tom clark and martin eyerer is a classy and solid club tune. both masterminds are offering their own >sooner or later< interpretation on this release. tom clarks mix shows a rough and full body, clear structures and is highly seductive. martin eyerers mix is softer with a touch of minimalistic retro-chic. as both interpretations enjoy the same musical introduction the personality of each stands out even stronger making it a treat to the listeners ears. the daniel dreier & dale remix is an intense opposite to the original versions a techno-esque and sparkly ear feast, while the adrian martin & klangwerk remix has a softer approach pairing addictive beats to an ecstasized bass line. all in all >sooner or later< is a 4 track release featuring 4 outstanding visions of the moment in-between sooner or later, a vision for each and every one of us.

the >sex, drugs and sausage rolls< series continues! after the lp its now time for the ep with the same name but all new tracks!

introducing the hells of love! two disco reprimands with an unhealthy penchant for slap bass, synths and drum machines. having both released singles under various guises, michele tessadri (fratelli riviera, bearfunk) and luca sapo saponaro (member of the love supreme project on tirk) decided two disco heads were better than one and headed to the studio to battle it out. the resulting cacophony of squelches and bleeps resulted in the third release on new fledgling jisco affiliated label under the shade.
