b-tracks aka john barera & soren jahan are in charge of the first release on berlin-based label regular expression. as the name of the ep suggests the two hardware-addicts indeed did work something out. as a result they deliver these four raw cuts on dj-friendly 180g vinyl.

pragmat is a label from leipzig/germany and was founded by markus masuhr in 2012. this label is a new interpedation of techno. the label is following his line of dark, dubby, pure and peak haunting techno. 4 tracks of deep and raw, yet intricately textured techno. elementary loop techno tracks with dark elements, showing consistently forward. in a mystery track construct with pushing apocalyptic sounds and vocals. he meet dark side of the night.
scaled to fit is the debut ep from london s shift work. four tracks plus four interludes. machine music for hypno dance floors and home listening tranceouts. live shows forthcoming. in their own words: shift work wring everyday sounds into something you can dance to. snippets of woven speech, audio fragments stitched with waves of pulsing mid-priced synths - the noise of syncopation, cheap art, ringing ears, cracked snares, accidents and oscillations. and some very tidy wiring.
morphine continue to expose more destructive electronics from the u.s. underground... 4 bare bones tracks that owe as much to grimy techno as they do to the late 80s industrial pioneers ... right on point... tip!
following releases from midland, dusky, bicep, leon vynehall, komon, and deetron, aus continues its run of releases with glaswegian, london-based producer sei a ...
hitsafe are a duo of established producers operating under an enigmatic moniker. nothing new, you might say, and that is true. the music is so outstanding and unusual though, that in this case this approach really does make sense. serious jaw-work is funk in its purest form. and we mean real funk! wonder how many djs will have the guts and abilities to play this one out…to round this release up, we asked lopazz and casio casino for a remix and these guys came up with two! both are so good, we couldnt make a choice. so here we go with both of them on this release. the jack remix on a2 is a functional tech housy Überhit, suitable for all peaktime house floors, the jane remix on the b-side is a moodymanesque version with a strong ludicruous tendency, that has all necessary qualities to become a timeless epic. massive!
welcome to the world of cvnt, a world where voguing dominates, and house in all its forms, past and present, ballroom to retro, is the musical language. after a sterling debut in 2012, which included support from hannah holland (batty bass), jd twitch (optimo), bok bok (night slugs), rushmore (house of trax), severino (horse meat disco) and voguing/ballroom legend vjuan allure, cvnt (aka niall connolly) is back with a brand new four track ep on body work, statement.

file under disco return with another set of cracking remixes of jkriv & the disco machine, whose 6 track digital ep the high fidelity sound drops in late june. 100% original disco music is again the name of the game. for this edition, long-term stalwarts of the uk disco scene faze action step in to remix disco rocket in two very tasty flavours – main mix and dub mix. both are bang on the money and ready to rock the dance floor. meanwhile on the flip side, disco deviant dicky trisco is back at the controls following his heavy hitting remix of drop out orchestras the blue train at the end of last year. the results are again 100% guaranteed to raise the pressure to boiling point in any discotheque. file them all under disco and dance.

djulzs bass culture records revisits home soil with its forthcoming work ep, from young parisian techno gem, john jastszebski. bubbling under the radar whilst building support through residencies at paris social club and rex club, jastszebski received affirmation for his early productions from the likes of luciano, richie hawtin and agoria. flash forward to late 2012 and djulz has snapped up the talented producer for a four track ep, backed by a bonus remix from chicago born, detroit raised house don, delano smith. the work ep is all twilight silkiness, the skill behind the alluring, forward thinking construction instantly inviting you on the journey. from soothing piano riffs to tribal drum work and allusions to mother nature, the work of both jastszebski and smith on the remix maintains bass cultures tradition of technical clarity and creativity.
fire at work are the most popular in many productions idm and have assets (including collaborations with venetian snare, d arcangelo and somatic responses).detest, although very young, has a high musical maturity, and has already printed on many top labels hardcore-techno underground (deathchant, rebelscum, face off, strike, etc

after last years very popular and widely acclaimed album >severant<, kuedo returns with this emotionally epic, dancefloor detonator of a track originating from the same sessions.
whetting appetites for works-brendon moellers ninth studio album and his first full-length for speedy js compound techno stable-electric deluxe present the >wanderer ep<, with remixes from clrs tommy four seven and argentine vanguard jonas kopp.
brendon moellers long player homage to the spirit of techno works, electric deluxe taps two of the albums polar moments for remixes to deliver work ethics. selecting one of works toughest tracks for the a-side, adjust to the fading light, the ep opens with a rare vocal refix from berghain resident ben klock
on >work that shit party<, a fingers inc. style rhythm buttresses a two-note riff, a crackling male voice filtering in from the ether. a pinging keyboard zips around before that two-note flicker expands and contracts, warps and wheedles. but around halfway in, a female vocal refrain of >gonna work it out< breaks fat lacerations into pinholes, blaring keyboards seeping in through the gaps and crevices. then, as with >d117<, it is the congealing of all these disparate elements: a work it out from fischerspooners lizzy yoder sashaying with the two-note riff, the keyboards bouncing off the ceiling, and flaring hi-hats fraying the surface played by pat mahoney (lcd soundsystem). each portion is given its due, only to make the ensuing combination that much more enthralling.
2012 pressing !! >gonna make you work< gab es bereits auf 7inch, leider ist das stück für die kleine schallplatte dann doch deutlich zu lang und entsprechend mau klang die single. jetzt kommt der recut auf 12inch, und drei neue tracks gibt es auch noch gleich dazu. so muss es sein. die drei neuen cuts zeigen die oldschoolige chicago-liebe in noch mehr facetten. keine tricks, keine stunts, einfach die pure kraft der maschinen und der soul des menschen dahinter. killer, durch und durch!
turbo recordings presents a second pack of killer remixes of zzts >work<, the latest single off the tiga/zombie nation supergroups partys over earth lp. featuring the advent & spiriakos, norman nodge and gingy & bordello.
it fills us with a profound, seething rage to think that even a small segment of the turbo audience doesnt worship the advent. here he teams with spiriakos to convert any stragglers. meanwhile, real-life lawyer norman nodge uses the full force of his autogenic training to create a track that is both elegant and hypnotic. and hot off their much-loved >body acid< ep, gingy & bordello continue their climb up the clubhouse ladder by joining the zzt remix elite, showcasing another step in the evolution of their maturing sound.
with >work< the 2 bears release the first ep to be taken from their album >be strong< on southern fried records. support comes with 2 huge remix versions by toddla t and oliver $.
the tiga / zombie nation supergroup returns with another blast of cortex-sizzling electro-funk. featuring a remix by nautiluss.
the latest single off the partys over earth lp romances the grindstone with five and a half minutes of hard labor in the analog mines.
opus 3 records are both privileged and delighted to release eric bibbs new album >blues, ballads & work songs<, a further enhancement to their association with eric which goes back to 1977 when he was in effect discovered with the success of his debut album >rainbow people<.
2 tracks from ron trents dancefloor boogie delites cd. tell me is deep house groover with lots of spacey efx and the full rich voice of leroy burgess. would have been a staple back at the zanzibar. b/w work that body, a soulful house (mostly) instrumental for late nights.
dj deep is know as one of the key players in the french house and techno scene for many years now! recently he found some old recordings on dat tapes. going through these tapes he heard several tracks that somehow still sounded fresh!. after listening he got fascinated. he describes some of the cuts as raw and somehow naive tracksand as something naive, authentic and honest. so here we are... with a nice piece of wax that has 2 great tracks produced around 1994-1997, and 2 solid 2011 remixes. rootstrax comes with an excellent mix that is an emotional deep take that really captures the emotion of the original and brings it to a much more mature and deep territory. the marcelus mix gives us a much more radical, uncompromising techno interepretation. another stunner on deeply rooted house!!
