it is no secret that ben watt has chosen to close his acclaimed label buzzin fly to new music after ten great years as one of the uks leading dance independents. but the label has chosen to go out with a bang with one final single. unearthed from the vaults are two dazzling tracks from cornerstone artists, rodamaal, and manoo and francios a. rodamaals fortune was originally completed back in 2007 but scheduling problems prevented it from being released at the time. produced by the franco-portuguese trio (rocco, darkmountaingroups alex santos and manoo) it is a stark but emotionally-charged deep-techno masterpiece, that deserves its place alongside their other classics for the label, musica feliz and insomnia. on the flip, and originally produced in 2005, is other places a long-lost track by manoo and francois a. full of summer shimmer and heavy bass tones, it was produced by the duo during their heyday at the label, and was a secret favourite of label boss, ben watt. two perfect swansongs. buzz buzz.

after first meeting stef smith aka lakosa at a birmingham warehouse rave back in 2010, the 2nd drop camp have been keeping an eye on this burgeoning talent, especially as he has popped music out on kerri chandlers madtech imprint among others. co-producer rick grant is 1/3 of take records and with releases on george fitzgeralds manmakemusic label, another key talent making moves this year. and despite having never met each other (they communicate via email and bass frequencies), it seems that when they collaborate the magic happens.

allez! real tone is back with another fresh new ep, full of deep flavours from two underground rebels. as always we are focused on the highest quality and the best music, regardless of genre, regardless of style and most definitely not concerned with the latest trends.
our man at the controls for this journey into the depths of electronic music is alland byallo, a los angeles-born producer who really hit his stride while living in san franscisco. it was there where he became one of the team behind the west coast citys legendary kontrol parties, along with sammy d from pillow talk, greg bird, nikola baytala, and craig kuna. the seminal events gained all promoters worldwide notoriety and helped alland to evolve his style. he is currently residing in berlin where, of course, he has really found himself musically so consider this new ep a cocktail of west coast usa meets berlin. a product of allands melting pot upbringing, yet oh-so-cohesive and built for dancefloor workouts, as proven by his outings on labels such as liebe*detail, poker flat, dirt crew and now real tone records.
after last years spectacular return to our airwaves and the world of techno with the release of the excellent album from the far future pt. 2, the detroit veteran terrence dixon is back with a new release entitled the giant robot ep on monique musique imprint, while that enigmatic and experimental british producer actress has been brought in on remix duties.

back to the future! two years after kanns diverse family horror various double 12, the label fills the gap by releasing catalogue no.10 including interpretations of 3 tracks from the compilation. it is no accident that the original artists met their brothers in mind for choosing their favorite horror track. whites edward converted johannes beck, hamburgs analogue king rvds rolls up with even tuell and the swedish duo of dancefloor-masters axel boman and petter called salax peep show restarted the machines for map.ache. the family stories continues.

tip! isolee strikes back a new anthem called dennis. one of our favorit german producers who has been delivering some groundbreaking tracks since his first releases on playhouse in the late nineties. dennis is another fine track and comes with remixes by ripperton and baikal. berliners baikal does a labyrinthine bassy version and ripperton rides on the guitars samples to deliver a groovy 8 wheels dub. excellent release!
pontape was originally released on carl coxs intec label back in 2002 and sold over 50000 copies worldwide. this led to renato playing at clubs around the world such as fabric, womb, space and i love techno among many more. renato cohen has remade his pontape original eleven years on, bringing new life to one of technos classic records. beginning with the immediately recognisable droning bass line that has become so synonymous with the release, cohen introduces a build during the middle section that gives the track a new depth second time around. alan fitzpatrick has been selected for remix duties
gamm have been sleeping for a few months but is now back with a bunch of hot new releases. first up is an ep for those of you that are down with the funky latin sounds. buenos aires producer doctor stereo have delivered us two massive afro/latin jams with mucho caliente funk rhythms. if you are a fan of the old school quantic stuff this one will be solid in your dj sets. la bomba!
1nce again is back, this time with the first single in a double package! this is the first of two 12 inches containing one of our absolute favourite tracks from prolific producer ken duke aka dj duke. closer was orginally released back in 1994 on dukes power music records and the amazing klubb kidz mixes quickly found its way into many djs record bags, including label boss mad mats who rates the flava dub as one of his favourite deep house cuts of all time. if u ever heard mats spinning a house set chances are big you have heard this mix blasted loud! first up for remixes duties this time is mark seven, parkway/parkwest label owner, a true djs dj, a passionate music lover and record collector extrodinare. the so close mix of closer is deep house at its finest, an homage to the classic prescription sound keeping it ultimately atmospheric. the stalker mix continues on the same vibe yet develops into something more meaty and pumping during its course. together with the original klubb kidz flava dub and the mark seven mixes this release got everything a true deep house head needs.
this is a whole new level of weird - intones a disembodied voice on proximas thermal vision the lead track of his new 12 inch for tempa. it is a perfect summary of its disorienting appeal: winding upwards through a tense opening, it abruptly explodes into a turbulent salvo of percussion. its monstrous chunks of sound chop violently back and forth from speaker to speaker, assaulting dancers from all sides and broadsiding the senses, while sub-bass blasts upward from beneath. it is both alien and astonishingly intense, poised to detonate on dancefloors without ever resorting to stereotypical club banger tricks. it is easy to hear why proximas tracks have become regulars in dubstep scene figurehead youngstas record bag.
transparent turquoise vinyl. dev pandya drops his 149th career vinyl in the shape of the b-boy hip hop influenced drum machine. sharp breakbeats step forward, sideways and roll with female rap vocals that get the feet shuffling to drum machineÆs unique groove. rumbling subs and cuts of distorted bass hold everything bolt tight with intricate effects, stabs and vocal riffs. random twists and turns lead the mix into a vocal breakdown where the drums u-turn into a funk assault of drum and bass. the flipside core jungle highlights paradoxs early hardcore roots with vinyl-rip samples, crunchy funk breaks and raggamuffin fx delays that take you back to the birth of pandyas jungle influences. core jungle was written specifically for vinyl mastering and will not be available digitally. exclusively for the analogue crew!
support: marcus intalex, friction, dj marky, loxy, london elektricity, presha, naibu, bailey, flight, asides, amit.
marcman!!! after the huge success of marcmans first ep with drumma records, the romanian talent comes back with four tracks. in this ep we have four strong tracks that represent the artists eclectic perspective of electronic music. sometimes marcman will show an industrial side with raw speech and sometimes he will express a rhythmic and harmonic intention.
I WANT YOUR SOUL (AXEL BARTSCH / HAKAN LUDVIGSON RMXS)
12 Inch 05.06.13
after his first successful release (sunrise) on society 3.0, matthias korr is back with his follow up - i want your soul, including a techy axel bartsch remix and a sweet melodic hakan ludvigson remix. we think it is a brilliant follow up from the cologne based guy.
little is known about mysterious producer tommy rawson. our first acquaintance was the aptly named shy track on red rackems smugglers inn 001 release. we tried to find out more but the trail got cold pretty quick. it was not until hearing gilles peterson playing a version of hugh masekelas dont go lose it baby on his show that word got around, tommy rawson was back. this particular anthemic track found its way to mats who then started playing it out and every time, in every club no matter where in the world the reaction was same, people completely lost it on the dance floor! we had but no choice to release the track and luckily enought tommy must have a sixth sense because at the same time mats blasted the track at the local talk office to convince tooli shouting: this is the next big release for local talk, i m telling you! another track made it into his mailbox, the soulful house jam brenda done died with no name. both tracks ended up on this 12 inch of course. mr rawson has delivered the goods here, warm, sunsplashed music all the way. a name to watch for this year and probably not mysterious for long.
the mighty hot creations welcome back firm label favourite miguel campbell with beams of light already supported on radio 1 by pete tong, this sensational slice of modern disco featured on his highly successful debut album back in flight school released on the label last year. a stellar selection of remixes come courtesy of alexis raphael and crooked man aka dj parrott

following on from his blistering essential mix debut back in february, marco niemerski aka tensnake releases his highly anticipated new single 58 bpm on may 13th. just like his equally on-point remix for little boots celebrating record store day in 2012, this new release is an equally limited vinyl run thats limited to 400 copies worldwide only this time, the music is all his own. and the remix on the flip comes from dublin-via-berlin producer mano le tough
crecimientos first release pairs two titans of the deep house scene. michel cleis (cadenza/pampa) delivers *hey lady luck*, a driving and percussive garage production based around the *lady luck* vocal from jamie woon. and on the remix, freerange records headhoncho, jimpster, weighs in with a solid version, stripped back and hypnotising, he also provides an instrumental for those who shy away from vocals...
