The Lithuanian based producer Mario Basanov released his first solo album ‘Journey’ on Needwant at the end of 2012, which showcased his undeniable talents as a producer and garnered huge international support. Now he follows that long player with a switch in tempos and heads straight to floor with the three track Bill EP. Headline track ‘Bill’ is full of brooding energy and sure to be inspiring open air parties across the summer. ‘Tor’ heads in a more electronic direction with a barrage of enchanting synths, while ‘Give Me Back’ is a relentless slice of electronic Italo inspired House that completes an epic EP.

Mario has more recently released on the mighty Innervisions with his dark and mysterious track ‘Red Line’ as part of the ‘Secret Weapons EP Part 5’ as well as penning an upcoming release on Mood Music. His recent remixes for the likes of Kruse & Nuernberg, Hollis P Monroe and Crazy P have only gone on to establish Mario’s versatility and consistent quality as a producer.
