the shifted flow 002 ep sees another diverse release from matthew burton & kate rathod. the five tracker also has a couple of collaborations. a2 sees matthew team up with friend, tattooist, and lover of all things analog, bangla design (george from the island of cyprus). while on the flip side b1 sees matthew & kate along side their favourite producer and old friend blm. the whole ep is packed full of moody atmospheric textures and vibes which can be enjoyed at home spaced out or on a dark sweaty dance floor in equal measure

so this is the first release from myself and kate rathod s new vinyl label which we started so that we could release our more diverse music. this ep ranges from ambient and electronica on one side through to two solid techno tracks on the flip side. future releases will see collaborations with blm, nick lawson, bangla design and more.

after 2 years of squabbling over who does the washing up and various teabag shortages in the kitchen, luke and milla decided to take their arguments into the studio. milla comes from an indie and scando-pop listening background with luke being a full on house and techno chin stroker. they love to experiment and record lots of different sounds for their compositions, be it 5 guys in the garden shed bashing bin lids together, screwing up plastic bags or sweeping the floor, if it makes a sound, it makes music. together they have created a spacey and melancholic two tracker abundant with love and emotion. >disappearing stars< comes with a matthew burton and kate rathod remix and the >its just us< remix has luke and matthew behind the wheel taking it down to china town.

brightons black key records has won many underground house fans thanks to superb releases from iron curtis, tom ellis, ethyl & flori and others, and is now back with another tasteful offering from cecil. the ep is supported by a remix from berlins matthew burton and kate rathod.

emmas third strike comes from stuff, one of frances most exciting new talents. to have fun and pretender are only two examples of his producer skills but they already give you an impression of his work!
