travel agents for inner journeys seahawks take us on a voyage ever deeper into the new age vortex. their last album ‘escape hatch’ described by vice as a ‘modern masterpiece’ only hinted at the transcendent power of seahawks music. eternal beams goes ‘further’ to create a whole new harmonial experience. side one: the listener immersed in a soft storm of tape saturated raindrops and distant thunder…numinous waves of sound cascade to create whirlpools of womb-like warmth with gentle pulsations. side two: enter laraaji… flocculent flows of golden zither, rich vocal vibrations, dolphin tones in phantasy phase - all coalesce generously, bringing feelings of rebirth and light. to conclude: a wondrous journey of resonant oscillations, inner exploration, a portal to other dimensions.#

dan shake is on a one-man mission to keep the party vibrant and interesting without losing that all-important impulse to move. his buy on sight shake label fires up once more with two fine-tuned heaters that have the peak of the night in their sights and a shot of pure disco coursing through their veins. -freak- takes its cues from 80s electronic disco embellished with a little acid magic and some serious heft in the production department to create a strutting, sassy party monster. -can t take it- finds shake in filter sweeping sample mode, taking a massive disco sample and strapping it to a rowdy, fist-pumping house undercarriage. this record is set to be huge this summer, no doubt about it.

buffered multiple is the techno a/v project of vienna electro poster boys microthol. buffered multiple return to pomelo after their debut on our 20 yrs compilation and subsequent eps on other imprints. buffer 05 starts off with prime time in super-saturated dub techno mode, its sublimely textured chords ambling hypnotically over a tense and pounding beat. shitty track changes gears into jack mode, with a bleepy morphing swing hook that drives up the intensity over a percussive beat and takes all the right cues from chicagos second wave productions. junolized delves deep into the abyss again, its expansive echoes weaving intricate layers of dub over a foundation of bottomless bass.
marlow and his partner rainer trüby came up with a lush, deep house stomper featuring a little vocal shred we all think we know. limited to 200 copies!!

it s been a while since al kent the scottish disco guy released anything on his own label. but since he s celebrating 20 years of million dollar disco in 2019 this seems like the perfect time to rectify that. following on the heels of a string of successes for labels like gamm, razor n tape, cree and bbe, this sublime piece of disco soul has been road tested all over europe and beyond, with each play getting the same massively positive reaction and a queue of punters dying to know what the hell they ve just danced to! so it s probably a good idea to make this available on a super limited one sided pressing so even more people can dance to it
part 1 of 2! while hush is focused primarily on dvs1s love for deep and purist techno, mistress will represent the pioneering home for versatile producers, sounds and vibes which touch all corners of the dancefloor and beyond.
on this third release, deviant disco keeps on digging up lesser known gems of various origins and delivers a hot batch of four brand new edits. the french label sticks to its peculiar aesthetics and welcomes you once again to an enthralling musical trip — starting with tchamy patterson’s groovy & percussive afrobeat only to spiral into barnes and ygalove s hypnotic the mongol raid slow-mo trance edit, and steering from la decadanse s tropical and sensual rework of yves simon vintage hit amazoniaque all the way down to eric vincent s obscure 80s french erotica.
f-dorm is a collaboration between connor camburn of litüus (avian), and visual artist conor ekstrom. commune follows the first f dorm cassette on mazurka and presents the first lp by the project. songs build upon unexpected repetition, wielding normally aggressive sounds into meditative loops with subtle textural evolutions. bursts of tape saturation, controlled waves of feedback, and linear drum beats shift and weave together through rhythmic delays. affected vocals speak low as if coaxing the listener further out into the nether regions of the mind. the strange cumulative mood of the record is difficult to describe: a transcendental state or a foul parallel from which the listener arises stronger or does not arise at all. mummies in civilian clothes -the master of the riddle-a dollmind haunts me in the penitentiary -the puttyman, naked inside -a mind made of cream

uk orientated house/techno & electro cuts from trouble maker label owner adam curtain. his first solo outing on the label provides three genre-benders in and around the 130bpm bracket. heavy 2-step, garage and electro influences seep through on all tracks.
the fifth release from the bunte kuh label is another winner: it comes from bardia salour and features three fresh originals with a remix from peter schumann. it s also set to be available on vinyl release too. salour is a german artist who runs his own esteemed events in hamburg and has played all over europe from watergate in berlin to culture box in copenhagen. his dub infused style is utterly distinctive and these new cuts prove that once more. north scapes opens up with a molten, acid tinged bassline. as it grows more wild there are icy hi hat loops layered in with some big piano chords to finish it in style and mean the floor will really go wild. liquid lava is more direct, with hard hitting techno kicks and deft synth sounds colouring in the grooves. then comes the excellent urban signals, a dramatic, dubbier cut with cavernous bottom ends and subtle, supple synths layering in warmth and atmosphere. last of all, peter schumann s lsd25 restyle of north scapes pairs it back to a warm, bubbly warm up house tune that will get you moving with its sonar blips and nice, deep cut and churning drums. all four of these tracks are fresh and classy efforts sure to make their mark.
ltd 2019 repress ... after a string of well received releases on the likes of 22a and alexander nut’s hotep, henry wu steps forth with his most bold statement to date with ‘good morning peckham’ on the rhythm section international imprint. arguably one of the most hotly-tipped producers in the uk right now, wu’s broken compositions and deep jazzy keys have earned him plaudits from scene veterans as well as peers, all keen to see what henry will do next. with a refreshing take on rhythm and a virtuosic musicality born out of years of recording and touring as a session player, henry wu represents a brightly shining light in the already glowing london community. equally adept on the keyboard as he is on the mpc, on good morning peckham, we are also given a further insight into the mind of wu as he takes to the mic - toasting along to the soon-to-be-classic ‘ croydon depot’ and spitting on the intro to the broken beat inspired ‘neezy’. a south east londoner born and bred, henry’s debut on rhythm section has been a long time coming and it seems that it was worth the wait as henry presents 6 tracks of white hot intention. henry wu is a name that we are going to hear a lot more of in the future….
live-in-the-studio versions of maxïmo park fan favourites, spanning all of their 6 albums. the vinyl release includes a download code for the full album and exclusive bonus tracks.
2019 repress - this year kevin saunderson, ann saunderson and paris grey, collectively known as the legendary band inner city, release >future<, their first entirely new material since parting company in 2001, written and produced in collaboration with another detroit legend, namely kenny larkin. the track marks a welcome return for a group that combined the tough, futuristic grooves of the detroit scene with the vocal energy of r&b and gospel and helped to define the period in which house and techno moved from underground phenomena to top 10 material, paving the way for hundreds of dance hits to come. >future< is devastatingly catchy and highly emotional, exhibiting all the soulful flavours and qualities you would expect from these celebrated producers and singers. masterfully re-edited by carl craig this track ascends to a higher place whilst kenny larkin is on remix duties, beautifully reworking the original into a techno infused monster with intoxicating staccato vocals.
look like makes his debut on clone royal oak with a great four track ep! a fresh take on classic house music. italo house, balearic beat, chicagos stomp and detroits funk all stirred up into a nice loose hybrid that seems to become look likes signature sound. lovely stuff!! if you havent heard from him just yet... also check out his cool releases on dvs1s misstress label and drum poet society!
the mysterious wilson phoenix returns with another batch of muscular techno joints that ll wipe the floor with any half-hearted 4/4 pretenders. considering how sought after his earlier releases are, don t expect this to hang around for long. the beastly 909 kicks on -dorphin- would slot in perfectly with head front panel s own blown out take on peak time rabble rousing techno, while the kick-clap sync on dexed will get fists a-shaking. it s not all blunt drums though - there s plenty of peppy colour splashed all over this record to make it stand out from the crowd. this ain t no monochrome chugging business!
neither scratcha dva, nor any of the tracks on this release, really need an introduction. grime fans will instantly recognise these legendary tunes from radio, raves and mixtapes.
