*how you say* is the new single from factory floor. this is the second of three 12 inch singles and contains part of a wide and wonderful selection of remixes. this second 12 inch contains new versions from gunnar haslam, who released a striking debut album last year on l.i.e.s., as well as a lean percussive house 12 inch single on chicagos argot records. the 12 inch also contains a remix from helena hauff (werk/pan), who made a distinctive mark in the dance community with a brilliant debut 12 inch on werk as well as single on pan under the alias black sites.

after a fantastic year in 2013 broadcite music fam spark the new year with some fresh sounds to open up the new season in 2014. we are happy to present the next part of the bbk journey release series. next stop is south africa. a connection established from their base in lausanne switzerland the bbk guys ruben estevez and perler have now completed 2 tours of south africa, touching base with some great artists along their route including fantastic producer scott ross and sensational vocalist ckenz voca the layders. freakin was originally written and produced by scott ross and has had a 2013 bbk makeover, taking the track to another level with some choppy beats and gorgeous instrumentation, also on the buttons for this project is alex attias freedom sounds connecting with ripperton to provide a feakin sexy, groovy dance floor killer remix. both great versions bringing their more urban underground edge to the music whilst demonstrating the ability to fuse with the beautifully fragile vocal melodies. enjoy the new single from the bruk boogie kru.

if you re going to launch a label, it s always wise to start with a bang. that s exactly what newcomers audio visual have done here, recruiting detroit veteran terrence dixon and chez damier cohort michael zucker (boss of finale recordings, no less) for a four-track trip into deep techno and intergalactic house. dixon goes deep into the groove on the hissing, intoxicating deep techno roller -mta-, before delivering a touch more melody on the retro-futurist gem -over the top-. zucker, on the other hand, opts for a jaydee-does-deep house feel to -foundation (part 1)-, before setting off towards the heavens with the deliciously deep, smooth reflections

ann arbors trees drops this wicked ep, six slices of lush, each on their own planet but part of the same galaxy, where techno, hip-hop and house rub up against jazz, kraut-rock and african percussion.

with *closer* masterton debuts on blackfoxmusics 19th release (bfm019). *closer* is a warm track with a deep groove and beautiful melodies. it relates to living in a long distance relationship and overcoming a lack of proximity.
robert babicz (babiczstyle, systematic, bedrock records) created an incredible remix. he used lots of the original melodies, combined them with new elements, added rolling drums and a thick bassline to give the track the extra drive. his remix became a constant part of his live sets and was debuted with great response at grelle forelle (vienna) and ritter butzke (berlin).
channel x (stil vor talent) remixed *closer* into a pretty cool and clubby deep house track. you can feel their berlin origin when listening to the groovy bassline with variations of the melody. finally the breaks capture the mood of the dissonant sounds from the original track.

jerome lol steps out of the shadow from defunct supergroup lol boys with his first solo release the deleted/fool ep on fof music. no stranger to electronic music he was named faders top djs to watch in 2013 and spent the better part of the year touring with baths, juan atkins and anthony shakir.

top quality remastered reissue of oses very rare and sought after old school vocoder electro jam *computer funk*, a stone cold classic with an awesome phat analogue bassline and some of the best vocoder vocals ever recorded. originally released back in 83 on the tiny florida label bound sound and produced by the great james mccauley, this is miami electro at its finest and it is easy to see why it has become such a holy grail with djs and collectors. must have.

here it is, the tenth and final chapter in the seaghdha story, as lo shea wraps up a monumental series with a special, limited 12 inch & cd compilation package. first up we get four more new tracks on the wax, its on is an atmospheric, driving house jam complete with melodic guitar effects, which ride the groove and combine with the devilishly deep low end to startling effect. got swagger strips things right back to the bone, a skeletal rhythm framework, those trademark atmospherics and rock solid low end. buchsheff sees us back in familiar lo shea territory, with a powerful warehouse rattler. finally to be sure brings it all home with a cinematic ambient piece. as if that wasnt enough we also have a hand-stamped cd comp, featuring those classic cuts from the earlier part of the series, which are now fetching serious change on the second hand market it is a great package, and a serious send off for what has been a hugely successful & widely supported musical endeavour.

datassette aka john davies has been recording music for over a decade, carving out a niche as a respected purveyor of electro and electronica. he has recorded and self-released an impressive discography from cd-r, net-labels and small independents, but it was his album for ai records in 2008 that first brought him to our attention. he has also remixed the likes of röyksopp, mark archer and al tourettes. datassette continues apollos tradition of releasing rich, musical electronica and follows on nicely from classic releases from the likes of robert leiner, biosphere, david morley and andrea parker.

this is the year of peder mannerfelts rebirth. after seven years he has laid the subliminal kid to rest. with this new 12 inch, the chains have been locked in and the road map has been obliterated. ep1 is focused like a laser etching out intricate patterns in massive, humming machines. mannerfelts ideas have been reduced to a razors edge and he balances these freeform compositions like a master.

the first release is always a big milestone for any label. in our case the first one (astrac ep) is also a long anticipated one, the title track waiting to be released for a long time. so far there is nothing ordinary about ztrls career as he had a big fan base without a single release or a dj gig. as a result of his ongoing inspiration by ricardo villalobos and encouragement from a:rpia:r s petre inspirescu among others he sharpened his producer skills which yielded astrac ep, another 2013 release on pluie/noir recordings compilation (pluie/noir year one) and an independent release on soul.on records titled >soul two< which was also remixed by the hungarian laurine frost. on top of his producer activity hes an avid record collector and a regular guest on uks rejam radio show, hes also done a podcast mix for the romanian nightclubber webzines unknown 500 series.
