submerse is 23 year old rob orme who splits his time between north west england and tokyo. he has already had a guardian new band of the day feature, which claimed him to be making some of the most heartbreakingly beautiful (dance) music anywhere on the planet. this came after just a handful of eps and a free download album that blend his love of j-pop and 2 step. his debut ep for apollo showcases how his productions have moved on in complexity and accomplishment moving between the digital hip hop of 8bit romance and the glitchy electronica of cluster to the recognizable garage mutations of give it up and they always come back.

thinking too much/where the helios is juk juks second release on nommos. thinking too much is the most direct juk juk release so far. its peak time fare, aimed squarely at the dancefloor. the dreamy intro will fool the unsuspecting, sucking them in and propelling them on a tripped out ride on a techno ghost train, buffered by a cushion of warm throbbing bass. where the helios is the real dream side. a floating, hallucinogenic, spaced out drift, driven by a crisp, pared back rhythm and a gorgeous, woozy vocal- led melody. juk juks first release for nommos was unwrap/fall and before that his debut, winter turn spring/frozen, was put out by kieran (four tet) hebden on his highly regarded text label. all juk juks output to date has been critically acclaimed, coverage including fact magazine, pitchfork, mix mag, abeano, the fader amongst others. his releases have also received significant club and radio plays including mainstream radio 1 support from admirers giles peterson and rob da bank, who has promised support for this release. four tet said the room went off when playing thinking too much at a recent event.

roberto clementi hails from a small town on italys east coast somewhere between riccione and rome. he is much more of an inventive sound designer as opposed to an average music producer. his tunes range from deep and lush to uplifting and party-pumping - often fueled by minimal subby basslines, retro-ish melodic elements, elegantly cut-up vocals, and an overall warm, analog feel. he currently has releases and remixes on labels like unfoundsound, monique musique, distric raw, undercut, stolen moments, manual music, kompass musik, suara, greel pound, sk supreme, and others. he is also one-half of i-rob alongside roby dj, and they have releases on labels like autist, tenax recordings, clasque musique, and others. his debut ep for steadfast features 3 techno trax ranging in mood and atmosphere but all sharing a perfect dancefloor sensibility and top-notch production. brendon moellers reshape aint half bad either.

with the snake, he or she and vibrant (the three tracks of this ep) mr no delivers a warm uplifting techno / electronic music full or energy.

jazzanova lands on wurst! early dj support comes from soul clap, radio slave, dimitri from paris, ewan pearson, sebo k, rob mello and slow hands. weve done the unthinkable, scored the unimaginable, and wrangled none other than jazzanova (!) for an über-limited one-sided vinyl-only release. while >i can see< feat ben westbeech came out a few years back, filippo moscatellos most excellent disco version never saw the light of day - until now, of course. doesnt much more sunshine-filled and soul-drenched than this stellar take on the esteemed berlin collectives original, and we are both honored and humbled to get to work with both jazzanova and their label sonar kollektiv, and of course filippo himself, on this very special release. filippo moscatello started to produce music in 1994 under the dj naughty moniker, and has since gone on to work with labels like gigolo, eskimo, and moodmusic to name but a few, releasing the artist albums disco volante (gigolo) and pagliaccio (moodmusic), as well as the acclaimed compilation, one naughty night in berlin (eskimo). in addition to his production work, filippo maintains a club residency at cookies in berlin called luv dancin where hes played along special guests like moodymann, jerome sydenham, ata, bottin and loud e.

the second release on new world audio is a 4 track ep showcasing a variety of flavours from the producers in the camp. the title track sees sukh knight and squarewave team up again after the success of their hench release, this time on the tribal roller called tribesman. the long list of club dj and radio support solidifies the strength of all the tracks on the ep.

there are few labels who will get the opportunity to work extensively with the most dynamic remixers, dj s and producers of this decade. bbe seems to keep coming up trumps. grammy award winner louie vega has been on top of the dj game for over 2 decades. he gained further notoriety as part of the collective known as ‘masters at work’ with kenny gonzalez form a formidable partnership reminiscent of the greatest producers of yesteryear. quincy did it with chaka khan, james ingram, al jarreau and the brothers johnson, while gamble and huff did it with archie bell and the drells, harold melvin and the bluenotes, teddy pendergrass and mfsb.

the final chapter has begun, with 5 massive hardtechno tracks from: thomas nordmann, rob stalker, droidbeatz, lost souls and madelephant.
