Submerse is 23 year old Rob Orme who splits his time between North West England and Tokyo. He has already had a Guardian new band of the day feature, which claimed him to be Making some of the most heartbreakingly beautiful (dance) music anywhere on the planet. This came after just a handful of EPs and a free download album that blend his love of J-pop and 2 step. His debut EP for Apollo showcases how his productions have moved on in complexity and accomplishment moving between the digital hip hop of 8Bit Romance and the glitchy electronica of Cluster to the recognizable garage mutations of Give It Up and They Always Come Back.
