the independent belgian platform celebrates its 5th anniversary by releasing its debut album. duploc.com, one of the leading references for dubstep worldwide, put together a 15-track compilation full of exclusive content from artists they regularly have been working with. expect the typical residents such as enigma dubz, bukez finezt, requake and subfiltronik - though as usual they also included quite a few upcoming talents. in general, the album is a proper reflection of both the sound as well as the artists duploc.com has been pushing, since day one they have been known for featuring a rather unconventional and uncommon side of the genre. originally duploc.com launched its brand in 2012 as a promotional outlet. meanwhile they expanded to a currently 50.000-strong community with their own live events, a prestigious record label and a well-respected online magazine. by releasing this debut album, duploc.com looks more determined and passionate than ever to show the listener a true and complete definition of dubstep.

first release on trevor jacksons new unreleased archive recordings label pre- is a timeless collection of twisted techno, militant ebm and filthy electro produced by jackson himself and featuring vocals from douglas (nitzer ebb) mcarthy & chloe from c.a.r. originally produced in 2003 as a playgroup side project, pinklunch made its debut with a demo track on a dj hell international deejay gigolo compilation, tracks also appeared on compilations for the exclusive parisian department store collette and the berlin club f.u.n. the album lay in hibernation for nearly 15 years, gathering digital dust, rediscovered in 2014 trevor lovingly re-edited and remastered the original mixes as well as getting guest vocalists douglas mcarthy from nitzer ebb and chloe from c.a.r to appear on two tracks.

the dark side mixes is a compilation of new official mixes by dj dark side (marcelo carreira) of 4 cold and post-punk super classics, including venerated cuts by eleven pond, silence gift, mecano and parade ground remixed and remastered for this occasion.... it arrives presented on 12&#8243,,, ep format and produced in a one-off truly limited edition of 300 copies lacquered pressed on 180 gr. high quality solid black vinyl. all tracks have been specially remastered for long cut vinyl by eric van wonterghem.

remastered 2017 version of the 2002 thump mix with a new version on the flip, played with band and the addition of live instruments.. the legendary german house label needs (not wants) returns after a long hiatus with a new release on the exclusive gold edition that is set up for revisiting their own classics to upgrade them with brand new versions and re-interpretations. walkin thru circles - originally produced by lars & marek bartkuhn - has always been a favourite for many of their fans. the original thump mix is a constantly building mover that is based on a massive beat, hypnotic soundscapes and highly energetic chord hooks, ready for taking off to outer space. for the full expansion lars has gone back to the studio to recompose and re-record the whole thing over again, combining the skills of some excellent session musicians with lots of live instruments, drum & percussion and vocals all played and sung by the producer himself. the result is a complex, epic and fearless jazzfunk odyssey, both musically expansive and heavily grooving at the same time.
