alkemy ist ein legendärer italo-house-produzent von der adriatischen riviera. aktiv seit 1991, als seine erste 12″,, veröffentlicht wurde, komponierte und produzierte er in den 1990er jahren mehrere dutzend tracks, die heute unter jungen djs und sammlern des genres kult sind. jetzt kehrt er zurück, um im gleichen stil wie damals zwei tracks zu produzieren, die zwei bekannte italienische djs, einen der alten und einen der neuen schule, beeindruckt haben, die ihre eigenen versionen machen wollten.

eine geheimnisvolle veröffentlichung, nicht nur wegen ihres einzigartigen expressiven stils, sondern auch, weil nicht einmal bekannt ist, wann sie ursprünglich aufgenommen wurde, geschweige denn, wann sie veröffentlicht wurde. laut dem eigentümer des gemeinnützigen studio piccolo, vincent bruley, könnte es in den 70er jahren aufgenommen und schließlich anfang der 90er jahre veröffentlicht worden sein, also irgendwann während der zeit, in der nilton castro in paris musik für zeitgenössische tanzkurse machte (die oft von seiner frau geleitet wurden). dieses album war ursprünglich für die begleitung von tänzern im unterricht gedacht, wobei der schwerpunkt auf rhythmus und koordination lag.
