das schweizerisch-französische label miniclic records kehrt mit dieser zweiten veröffentlichung zurück. enzo leep hat auf der a-seite saubere, rollende breaks mit koketten stimmen produziert, die seinen ganz eigenen stil ausmachen. die b-seite entführt dich mit ihrer percussion in eine hedonistische welt. dazu gibt es einen deepen und minimalistischen birdsmakingmachine-remix für die floors.

finally, after a being one of the most featured artists on mindcolormusic, bromic put together a selec for a longplayer. manifold influences between acid, idm, sometimes bass or even funky, drawn together in these trax, creating so many different mood shades between hyperactive or happy, energetic and playful acid, things to call horror house appeal like a new kind of music even. a solid statement, but still just a peak on the works of this dude from bergamo, italy. i really enjoyed compiling this one, also had an interesting journey that i hope i can share by releasing this!

the sounds of dustin wong & takako minekawa are a coalescence of the complexities of life, with the sheer joy of imaginative creation. are euphoria continues to dive deeper into the dreamlike technicolor tapestries their songs have always explored, blossoming forward with each cycle of loops. completely characteristic of their style, wong and minekawa achieve a density of textures, timbres, beats, and harmonies while remaining totally weightless, suspended in the air.

it is our distinct honor and pleasure to welcome todd osborn to the argot family with his stunning new single, elastic 68. this double a sider came together over the last three years thanks to regular communication between the michigan-based savant and label founder steve mizek. its two tracks exemplify argot’s musical direction and check a major item off the label’s bucket list of releasing a record by todd. with nearly mythical finesse, the title track finds osborn presides over a marriage of sassy, gleaming motifs and invigorating acid lines. its assertive bass line grabs dancers by the scruff before the unleashing a torrent of churning acid riffs that could stir even the most jaded chin-scratcher. “authorized dealer” is tougher and even more acid-forward, stomping and squelching as it drags the dancefloor into the dungeon for beating it won’t soon forget. supported by kornel kovacs, midland, xxxy - releases on running back, ghostly/spectral sound, 7777

fifth interval gather together some of the most forward thinking minds in the dub techno sphere for this various artists ep. those already acquainted with the label will be familiar with the likes of federsen and tomas rubeck, who headed up the first and second releases respectively. they are joined by dub techno luminary brendon moller, aka beat pharmacy and alessandro crimi, for this four tracker of perfectly contrasting arrangements. federsen opens the proceedings with the sunset sequence of bay blues, cascading keys rolling through the gaps in a subtly broken drum arrangement, making for effortless and captivating listening. beat pharmacy contributes his first original material to the label after a brace of remixes last year. showing true mastery of the board, chromed chord stabs are pushed and pulled around the mix in true dubwise style, drifting over a malleable bassline that packs a serious punch. on the flip side, tomas rubeck crafts a tightly woven backdrop of constantly evolving, organic atmospherics and powerful drum work for io, and this muscular workout is perfectly contrasted by the swung grooves and kaleidoscopic synthesis of alessandro crimis fractal clouds, which closes the ep.
