Light sounds dark combine forces with fellow marshmallows Psychemagik on a ride to the other side and as one would expect from these two a variable treasure trove of a selection plucked from all corners of the known galaxy and far beyond.

Light sounds dark begin the expedition with tracks 1-10.. highlights include the incredible detroit sounding Die Partei (1980!!) truely ahead of its time and a fully deserved reissue of their album will be out on the label this year, the super hipster and heavily in demand proto/post? dubstep of Posr Amajo whilst for all cosmic boogie heads Gift of Dreams ''Moonwalk'' from the much acclaimed ''Mandroid'' album is always on the top of everyones wish list. And for the really quirky make sure to listen to french avant garde darlings Los Gonococcos and the west coast psych punk from Rich and Famous music which refuses to be holed by the pigeons.

On to the other side and Psychemagik take the reins with tracks 10-20 presenting a truly out there selection of rare & choice cuts that will leave even some of the deepest diggers scratching their heads. From The outset Christian Boule's progged out space jam 'Elastic Minute' sets the tone as they weave you on a cosmic trip that blends cosmic rock with spacy euro funk jams in an effortless flow. Stand out tracks feature the obscure & drum heavy 45 version of 'ESP' by italian group 'Persimfans' who released the same track minus drums on an album by 'Tony Binarelli'. (A 70's magician and Tarot reader). Next up and reminiscent of Jan Hammer's 'Don't You Know' is the beautiful track 'Tropic' by Czechoslovakian 'Orm' recorded in 1983. 'Funky Dromedary' by 'Synthesizers Unlimited' from their sought after 'Electric Bazaar' LP lays down some serious evil moog funk breaks alongside fellow library musician Teddy Lasry's 'Krazy Kat' in a similar vein. Norwegian Ken Dang's highly sought after 'Born In Borneo' makes an welcome appearance on vinyl alongside 'Bombay By Night' by 'The Yasotha Somasundram Ensemble' an epic sitar funk killer that starts out like a slow tripped out raga until the mightiest drums, guitars and synths kick in and launch you into another stratosphere. Finishing with 'Flyin Bolero' by 'Gag' on the obscure 'Diamine' records out of Italy recorded in 1983, a seven minute plus cosmic hypnotic synth odyssey is the perfect end to a blissful selection.
