the disco builders is a new san francisco band produced by tal m. klein featuring the voice of hillary hightower. the bands sound celebrates the roland alpha juno 1 keyboard, a mainstay of the postorchestral disco sound.

call this ep our attempt at spring cleaning. after releasing and touring with his plastic starfish project, tal m. klein is now working on new projects such as the sly players with slim from goodgroove and the disco builders with deepcuts and hilly of the hotness. but we found a bunch of unreleased remixes both by and for tal in our vaults and worked to put together an amazing package of fresh tmk beats to funk up your world.

we are happy to finally introduce our label newcomer and multi-instrumentalist lopal with his debut ep. teasingly and with great finesse lopal (@lopalmusic) intertwines powerful chords, twinkling melodies and a snugly baseline towards distant climaxes, which seem near and yet far away as he unhastily stacks up hypnotic patterns.

we are more than happy for nutia returning to tal der verwirrung with a gloomy, twisted yet hauntingly beautiful solo ep after his first appearance on the label in 2017. dreamy, distant bells and subtle, organic drums form the canvas for warm chords which nutia pairs with dubby bassline stabs and vocals of his very special vocalist.
