for the most recent collaborative release curated by wsnwg, label head rødhåd invited young, brighton-based breakthrough producer and dj rene wise to his studio for a week-long jam session in 2019. the end result is four driving, hypnotic techno tracks with a swinging groove and 90s-inspired percussion. made for the club, they build up tension and captivate listeners with rolling baselines, funky rhythms and mystical melodies.

a relatively recent partnership, harkin & raney draws from years and years spent lost in music. steve raney (known to many as oneauff) came to nyc in 2005 with ten years of djing already under his belt. it was shortly thereafter that he connected with eamon harkin, an irish-born dj who’s become a central figure in the city’s party scene thanks to his hugely influential club nights fun, prime time, mister saturday night, and sunday best.
