1985, restored from a vintage vinyl copy (masters were lost long time ago in chicago...) copies sold for 0. on the youtube thread for the track a cousin of t. woodard says they pressed 2.500 copies of this - but that seems hard to believe unless they didnt sell and got recycled at trax and/or were simply thrown out, as this rarely show up anywhere. this is a very early and simple track which sums up the new and experimental sounds of early 1985 along with tracks such as jesse sanders on & on and funkin keith funkin with the drums. basic early house music that havent lost any of its relevance.

originally released back in 1995 the fingerprintz ep is truly a deep house masterclass. forget all these records coming out today claiming the deep house title, this is what it s all about right here - on one slab of wax. kc is a legend and at this stage in the game he doesn t need an intro, every single track featured here is an absolute winner, all drenched in that classic kerri swing and style. timeless productions. it s hard to pick a favourite as they are all amazing, every possible mood is covered making this whole 4 track ep your new always in the bag staple. from the driving upbeat funk of where is love to the totally stripped back tribal diva sampling i remember kc has you covered. it may sound cliched, but they simply do not make them like this anymore! essential, essential business here from one of the true masters of the game. 100% classic. this is one of a series of official madhouse / kerri chandler reissues for 2017. every title has been remastered by kerri chandler himself, from all original sources and each reissue has been legitimately released in full conjunction with kerri and madhouse records. and, as if that wasn t enough, all the reissues will be coming in the classic madhouse records house bag. snoozing not advised!

pavel ludin returns to poker flat wax with a gripping four-tracker showcasing his myriad of talents. born and raised in eastern siberia, pavel iudin found his way to the underground scenes of moscow and saint petersburg where he firmly established his credentials. the probe ep finds him at the height of his powers, serving up some serious burners. �probe 2&#8242,,,, is a throbbing, deep roller with shimmering synths and a shuffling, evolving groove - one for keeping the floor on lock whatever the situation. �halo� has more classic feel to it, clearly a nod to the chicago masters of the 90s, but maintaining a tough and fresh feel that is all ludin�s own. half way though, things really open up into thick, swingy vibe via a killer bassline and snappy percussion. �probe 3&#8242,,,, is more acidic outing - although never resorting to the iconic 303, the track is a lysergic journey into dubbed out tech-house. closing out the ep is �groundlevel� - a driving, loopy groover that uses ludin�s feel for atmosphere and tension to the max. the whole ep exudes a steely-eyed mastery of the studio and the dance floor - making pavel iudin one to watch over the next months.
