the idea behind lbl is very simple. we keep getting sent music that we really want to own on vinyl, so weve decided to start pressing these tracks ourselves. everything we have scheduled has a club feel, but past that we think youd be hard pushed to pinpoint a specific style which dominates our releases. for our first release we have music from scott fraser (crimes of the future), people get real (join our club), jamie blanco (ess o ess) and joonipah (nixwax). we could list a whole load of meaningless genres to describe the music to you (machine house, neu acid, bashment techno and hi tek soca) but we think its best you just listen and make your own mind up. currently, all lbl releases will be limited to a pressing run of 300 copies
of unsound mind is the new label from dj skream and is set to be an outlet for up and coming new producers hes feeling and thinks people need to know about-. first in the release schedule is brendan neal aka motions (a producer from canada but now residing in london) who has previously released records as one half of the production duo grown folk and also recently as motions on la label body high. here he delivers three solo tracks consisting of deep and melodic house, the a side ‘fading’ received heavy club testing by skream in ibiza at the end of last summer and was the catalyst for him to sign the 12inch. fielded and home is away from here follow in the same vane and complete the release from this up and coming talent who is sure to have a bright future

fantastic reissue of paradises deep grooves seminal * i love ep* produced by nelson * paradise* roman. originally released back in 91, this is one of the true holy grails of deep house. kicking things off is the incredible deep hypnotic groove of * i love*, which became a nyc sound factory classic in the hands of junior vasquez as well as receiving heavy rotation on the underground house scene. the next two tracks * hypnotic flute* and * trance dance* are both excellent but the other really outstanding track is the deep floating * inner mind* with its lush haunting synths and intricate rhythms. top quality house music at its best!
