the green series is the continuing art and music project from bleep.com, giveupart, and photographer shaun bloodworth. the project will be a series of tracks exploring techno music released on limited 12 inch with deluxe art prints as well as on digital formats. the double a-side single features the pairing of objekt and cosmin trg and brings you raw techno. both tracks were mastered by rashad at dubplates and mastering, berlin.

the first release on project squared in a year, *make your mess* is a three track ep by melbournes craig mcwhinney. craig has been making music for years and releasing since the late 2000s on melbourne labels such as pinksilver, melbourne deepcast and his own haul music, also on labels based further afield such as brendon moellers steadfast and speedy js electric deluxe. craigs music is techno, but it isnt preoccupied with the 4/4, employing broken, swung and rolling drum patterns. his tracks often include melodic and harmonic elements and effects reminiscent of dub techno but without conforming to the pastiche template of the sub-genre. the make your mess ep is composed of the core title track and two additional tracks that arose as interpretations and variations on the initial production: *provocation is an excuse* is more furious and loud, *disengage* is more restrained. all three are around 125 bpm and were produced in the space of a month between september and october 2012.

part 2/3! deep house � uh killer?! dear gorge just like we know him. hardly anyone puts so much energy into a yet so low key appearing track and this is what we love him for. gorge was a history witness for our biggest light installation and the most oppulent feast, as is his right. certified ass-shaking tune with a joyous organ going hand in hand with a female vocal. there is no more to say about this track as it speaks for itself. reminiscing igors 10 minute intro in combat gear at the treibgut deluxe. some push did jonas put into this few minute collaboration track with mz sunday luv. it has to be loud, it has to run � it has to take its place on this compilation. homebased in frankfurt jonas was so fond of hannover at a time that he almost moved north. but we could not afford the hotel room for such a long time. deep house making you get rid of your jacket and shake your hips together. get yourself a drink at the bar and head for the dancefloor. nicely smooth this track is driving you into the night. the only night we actually had champagne and still could all make it to the train to hamburg in the morning.
