what could we possibly expect better from les nŽgresses vertes than a grand dŽballage (big unpacking)? these happy music gipsies, children of the road and party open their caravans and throw everything on the place. twenty artifacts of a feverish schoolÕs fete where guitars and accordion lead the dance. les nŽgresses vertes made their 1999 album ÒtrabendoÓ rigged by the electro wizard howie b., and we get this in our hands with this big unpacking. from the very last single Òvoilˆ lÕŽtŽÓ to latinos excursions with Òhou mamma miaÓ and Òsous le soleil de bodega-, all their hits are here. un gipsy-arabic-andal-andalusian moving which will make you see Òdes vertes et pas mžresÓ - youÕll see it all.

solaronemusic is proud to announce this special record. andreas left us suddenly at june 20th in 2016 after long health problems. around that time we finished with him - the worst of gehm - release. he was so happy about this project!!! even one week later we got the terrible message that he died. we put alot of love and effort in this project to give him his last big monument! special thanks to all his friends and labels like mathematics recordings, abstract acid, creme organization, psycho thrill and of course bunker. rip in andreas! we will never forget you!

2 x cd in gatefold sleeve for those who want to know the background, it is something like this. i bought an italian drawbar organ module around two years ago. apparently italian organs from that period had a bad reputation but i was so happy with it that it appeared on most of the tracks i had been working on. i thought i had an album together and was supposed to get it mastered on the day after the mastering session for the pinch and shackleton release on honest jons (sometime towards the end of summer 2011)

repress - unreleased early algerian synth electronic by ahmed malek, compiled and co-produced by flako. in the early 1980s, ahmed malek was already in his 50s, when he discovered synthesizers and electronic music for himself and started to experiment with sounds. the result was a mixture of ambient synth music, field recordings he made in cuba and a wide variation of different sound experiments that he also presented as different avanguarde music festivals in cuba and the us. none of it was ever released but we got a huge box of master tapes from his family and we re happy to present this different side of ahmed malek s music. it was compiled and co-produced by flako, a fan of early electronic and synth music. this is not a remix album though, flako s aim was to create an album out of 2 hours of material that sounds like it might have if mr. malek would have finished it himself before of his death. fully approved and licensed from the artists family. the album comes with an informative booklet with liner notes, an interview with flako regarding his approach towards the production and unseen photos. we will also release a third album by ahmed malek which will be more in the vein again of the music he is known for and this album will also be previously unreleased.

mikkel metal was the first artist on echocord, and the main reason why the label was started back then. after many many releases we are very happy and proud that he now returns with a full lenght album. more than 7 years after his last long-player album mikkel metal returns with a new album for echocord. bypassing dub-techno as the starting point, this is music clearly consistent with earlier output. we are presented with 10 tracks that all evolve with around a melancholic melodic framework. while there is clearly a nod to detroit and another to dub- techno, the overall impression is consistently and unmistakably the sound of mikkel metal. a hypnotic, very enjoyable and thorough return from the danish artist.

italo-disco is a musical genre derived from disco that started in the early 80s. it became popular in italy and europe, before reaching its peak in american clubs, especially in chicago and detroit. discover 12 groovy tracks of the emblematic artists of this genre in their maxi version.
