farväl falkenberg is an album by erik enocksson and a soundtrack to the movie of the same name. it is 10 years old this year and in celebration of that posh isolation is rereleasing it in a remastered version with new artwork, giving it its first widespread lp release to date.

second proper studio album originally released in 1976 by the king of turkish psych/anatolian rock. recorded in belgium with help from session musicians related to placebo, janko nilovic and mad unity among others, nick the chopper features lyrics in english, huge orchestral sections, and re-arrangements of many of the melodies from his masterpiece 2023. bar&#305,&#351, spent his whole life trying to communicate to the wider world outside turkey. this was his last attempt at doing so with an album before turning to a travel television show to visit faraway places and talk to the young and old, one on one. every production trick of the glorious 1970s was deployed to push bar&#305,&#351, up the european charts, and now they can push him right into your brain instead.

“finding people” is the newest recording from croatian amor, the morphing alias of loke rahbek. with last year’s croatian amor album, “love means taking action”, we witnessed a transformation in the project, its wide-eyed gaze having stared deep into the news feed, reengineering its heartstrings. finding people takes this even further. white vinyl presented in a clear pvc sleeve.

“the spiral” is frederikke hoffmeiers third solo lp for posh isolation under her puce mary moniker, and follows where last year’s critically acclaimed “persona” left off. working more precisely than ever, “the spiral” binds the listener in a tight web of sharp synthesizers, hammering percussion, obscured vocals, field recordings, and blistering noise. puce mary manages to at once honour the history of industrial music and noise, as well as transform it.

body sculptures is a contemporary project that brings together five unique voices in european experimental electronic music today. the formative element is the collaborative pact between sweden’s northern electronics and denmark’s posh isolation. last year marked both body sculptures debut live performance - a highly notorious set at berlin atonal festival 2015 - as well as their debut recording, “the base of all beauty is the body”. the disparate elements that have come to inform the project thus far are further refined and encoded in their new lp, “a body turns to eden”.

“the water we drink” is the debut album from khalil, a close confidante of posh isolation, and naturally a project close to the heart. with an iridescent shower of auto-tuned vocals and encrypted synthetic forms, khalil presents a luminous route into a future of cadences pitched to a crushing intensity.
