autonation kindly agreed to a re-release two years ago after a meeting in a pub in ladbroke grove. sit on the bass has been a mainstay of label boss jerome hill s sets since it s release all those years ago and still sounds relevent and rocks crowds today.
autonation is none other than seasoned producer dave campbell who over the years has released a vast body of techno, drum n bass, and ambient music under the aliases kibu, hiryze, xtro, greenback and of course autonation on labels such as rising high, certificate 18, r&s, cue and guy called gerald s juicebox.
its an absolute techno classic, but not one of the obvious ones that get rolled out for every old skool back to the 90 s set.. so get on board and be in the know before everyone gets on it!!

shit hot release from the super consistent sex tags crew !! footnotes was the bergen, norway based label run by bjørn torske with only two releases, the late 1997 house classic and collectors item “haribo” by erot and the way too underrated dub-house 12” “farlig fiffus” by krisp. in 2002 the laqcuers for the third release were cut and all ready for the press, but for some obscure reason it never made it to the actual pressing. in the end lacquers were demolished and the mastertape got lost. several years later the mastertape showed up in a tower of old tapes and mastercuts. recovered by the sex tags mania crew, now seven years after it’s origibnal releasedate, doc l junior’s two classic and brilliant house and disco tracks are ready for a proper release. as a tribute, a longing for old days, sex tags mania will releases footnotes 3 in april 2009..

he making of this record inadvertently began in cuba in january 2008. powershovelaudio was recording in la havana some of the best contemporary cuban singers and musicians. the resulting recordings were of an inspiring beauty. the situation was that powershovelaudio had this outstanding collection of voices, woods and brass, all infused by the tropical warmth. it was first-class material that should be put in the best hands possible, then maayan came to mind. ônight longö is a synthetic work. maayan has inexplicably, quickly and with incredible precision captured the essence and the expressivity of the cuban musicians and taken it to a hitherto unknown place. maayan is of course well-known for her diligent talent in inserting voices of quality in her mixes, but in this occasion the result is more than surprising. instead of concentrating in her signature minimal beats, maayan has experimented with different cadences, depths and moods, leaving behind her swirl a disconcerting record of inspired beauty. this art in this record is graced with photography by one of the best and most influential photographers in the world: moriyama daido. maayan asked moriyama san for permission to use the cover image, a request which moriyama san, after listening to the record, gladly accepted

1986, chicago. jody fingers finch is 18, not yet able to gain access to all of the spaces in which his first production will soon get airplay. he saves up the cash himself and records it in the basement of staple singers member bob murphy, who prefers the moniker bm recording studio. one 8-track reel-to-reel machine, one afternoon, $200 cash. a handful of cuts are recorded, including a stripped-raw, bare-bones track jody calls jack your big booty, an undercover piéce de résistance about his friends mothers backside. another is dubbed whistle worm, a meandering, experimental ride, riddled with strange noises and staccato high hats. bob murphy is likely confused. the tracks are brutally raw, lo-fi at best

after shock from the pain state of emergency returns with a new hardcore stomper! on this 3 tracker everybody gets served! call it music on the a side is a party tune with phatt kicks, a cool melody, catchy raps and a huge break! on the flip we find the darker and more uptempo track vanity. this one is for the ones who like it a bit darker. a simple but effective melody combined with a pounding kickdrum will do the trick for sure! last but certainly not least we take it a bit further with a stunning broken rules remix of game time. the man from l.a. delivers a rough stompin remix only he can do. hardcore with a techno twist is what he serves us! so this raw fuel release covers it all!

first 12 single from gerald peklars debut album depanic, which was released on tanzbar digital in november 2008! after all these great feedbacks from djs all over the world, we release this fantastic and really hypnotic track called the only truth. next to the original version, we have a great deep / tech-house remix from holger brauns & nils nuernberg, well known from their releases on 8bit, liebe detail, diebaudio, force sense, gumption, lorna,...and last but not least, the third track on this ep is depanic, just the same as the albumtitle! a strange minimal track with some big synths. a simple, but dynamically dancefloor track

after the two releases african salsa and parte dos mancha recordings comes up with the third release love and pain. on the a side rik elmonts tracks tint and somewhat like love come along very rough and playful. dry sounding, interlaced house structures allocate both tracks. the tracks on the b side are a bit more dubby. marsmellows and zero in something are releasing their first tracks on mancha recordings.

fresh eight presenting: the invisible planets the invisible planets are coming up with their first appearance on fresh fish records ! the hamburg based project emerged from plenty of jam sessions in > the wooden studio st georg<. after recording the sessions the guys choose and edited the best parts to polish them up. the result is a unique organic sound, engeneered to make it tight for the floor. on the flipside brothers vibe has come up with a joyfull remix which keeps the tension all the way through and builds a magic timeless interpretation of the original track. massive housevibes guaranteed on this record!
