montreal born native alex hender started his career in the mid 90s. after watching one of his friend djing at a high school dance party, he decided to buy a pair of turntables, a mixer and began shopping some records. its in a record shop,at the age of 15, that he discovered the sound of new york and chicagos house.alex has been a resident in some of montreals most famous clubs. the legendary limelight was his first home. he also played at redlite, gravity and a lot of other gigs around the city. being a buyer for years in a record shop, alex got in touch and upfront with whats hot & whats the next big thing.his musical style got a lot of influence from the funky chicago stuff and the dirty german minimal tech sound.since then, aside from djing and collecting an amazing amount of vinyls, alex focuses more into production, to reach another step in his career. we can only expect greater things to come from him in the future

the first release on the new sushitech sub division pariter. produced by alejandro lopez (minimise) who hails from gijon in northern spain. alejandros first meeting with electronic music was in the mid 90s when he started listening to detroit techno and chicago house. this is where alejandro has taken his influences from to compose his own music. this ep holds 3 incredible techno tunes. on the a side you will find poligono, using a dark twisting melody over immense techno beats all tied together with a bassline that is sure to sound fat on any big sound system. this track sounds better and better every time we play it! on the flip side you will find another 2 great tracks, bigudi is another big techno tune with a driving bassline and vocal cuts all fused together with an amazing rhythm. this tune is definitely in the right direction of where techno is going in the world today! the last track on the ep estaferia continues on with the groove of the ep with some lush programming. let the music do the talking

sleepy hollow was obviously inspired by the movie of the same name. it is one of my favourite pictures by tim burton and i really like the dark, creepy atmosphere of it. the bass-line recreates this mood to an extent that it scares me, makes me shiver. i mean, really! regenerate has such a strong techhouse vibe to it, again reminiscent of the early 90s and a very strong groove. excellent percussion programming and modulation by stephan. this one builds and builds until it completely gets you. personally i think all due respect is the most laidback, reduced track on the album. we came up with this distinctive, monotone melody/bass and i loved the feeling right away. definetely the kind of music that i like to play on a sunday after hour session
