australian group retiree return to rhythm section intl in 2018 with a new record house or home. the musical project of matt crowley, tori holleman and marco vella retiree have steadily congealed their broad influences into a unique emulsion of strongly rhythmic and emotional music. from two releases, theyve been described as pared back 1980s comfort pop for all occasions, having a whole lot of criss-crossing rhythm containing swirling synth flourishes, languid wistful vocals and strutting drum machines. the albums songs explore the theme of house or home and what that means in present day australia for different people. they journey from an aboriginal tent embassy on the south coast of new south wales, a retirement village, a one room flat in ringwood and a sleepless 17 hour stop over in malaysia.

we are glad to introduce this release by it. ivan iusco, the artist behind the it moniker, has been running minus habens records since 1992. its disturbance sublabel has been responsible for releasing forward thinking techno and experimental releases from a range of well known artist such as marco repetto, aphex twin, speedy j and atom heart among others. here we present three tracks that have previously been released on his era vulgaris cd album. the ep ranges from techno to more abstract broken beats on the flip side, displaying the versatility of it as a producer and encompassing the sound of the first years of disturbance.

dsordne (pronounced disordine) is a project from torino, italy that evolved as group out of the electronic experimental post punk project novostj in 1987. at the core of dsordne is marco milanesio, musical engineer and co-founder of the hax record label, joined by a revolving cast of musicians. their spectrum ranged from experimental to structured electro-poetry and soundtrack like instrumental electronic music. in 1987 they released their first track on a split-single with the legendary pink dots. between 1987 and 1994 they released 6 full length albums, 3 split-eps and appeared on various cassette compilations.

lem sees the light in 2012, during an electronic music improvisation night at l’asilo (arts and culture production center in naples, italy). elem started as an audiovisual project based on electronic music improvisation and multimedia arts, created by loredana antonelli (visuals), fabrizio elvetico , emanuele errante and marco messina (electronics). elem is today an interesting novelty in the european electronic music scene that always welcomes new experimental and inspiring projects to give new life to art and music productions.
