cristian vogel is a long-term innovator in the composition, mixing and performance of electronic music. spanning over two decades at the vanguard of european electronic music, his work has been acknowledged as an outstanding influence in the fields of composition for stage, club culture and studio. this is the first vinyl release of material from the archive remasters project. the project was successfully crowd-funded in december 2014 which enabled the establishment of edition cristian vogel, an edition handling the restoration and remastering of a large part of cristian vogels hard-to-find and unreleased productions dating back to the early 90s. the 1994 ep features a beefed-up remastering of the classic time originally released on his 1995 album absolute time on tresor. you will also find a rare proto-minimal track from the vinyl only artist in charge of expert systems ep originally released on mosquito records. scorpio and alien conversation are taken from his debut album originally released on mille plateaux in 1994. all tracks were remastered and cut from original dat tapes in february 2015 by manmademastering

the second volume of bushwick is melting features original unreleased material by brooklyn-based producers black meteoric star, lorna dune, and j. slusher. gavin russom apparently has a new black meteoric start lp on the way and we can t wait based on the epic, sweeping grandness that is the 18 minute a-side hogger unearthed arcana which is quite hypnotic when in full flight. the b-side finds lorna dune putting her experiments with the piano to one side to focus on some celestial house moves with reflux which will appeal to fans of legowelts more star gazing moments whilst the wonderfully named j. slusher closes out the record with the face melting techno cut night train

the *obsidian falls* ep from seattles josef gaard sits at a very fascinating but incredibly complimentary space between traditional techno tendencies and freeform ambient composition and experimentation. each track seamlessly references each other providing a straightforward sense of cohesion while maintaining a constant and aggressively progressive motion. the ep will guide and gently coerce the listener into experiencing a somewhat altered perspective on sonic and musical expression. without much notice the listener will effortlessly travel from point a to point c without realizing they have ever touched on point b.

sworn virgins is one of the many perverted projects from the blossoming mind of mutado pintado, legendary vocalist for paranoid london and save (the light was such a hit for us), head of warmduscher, general purveyor of chaos and diy videos. so this is all about rage and bits of broken down computer melted in tar, and this is probably our strongest release yet. we will let you look for what a sworn virgin actually is

the kestrel (turmfalke) will rise in spring 2015, starting the new label by matthias springer with focus on physical media. the philosophy behind is to invite friends to this special cross-over concept. every artist presents an original in combination with remixing eachother. in the end 4 tracks on one release, no special genre is preset, everything can happen. frank hellmond is the special guest on the first turmfalke release, bringing in his unique deephouse flavour that features some pretty nice vocals from snowflake, while matthias is turning it into a combination of dub and acid ... but just have a listen.

the second single from francis harris debut full length, leland contains three remixes of pharoah in the morning,one of the highlight tracks on the album featuring the phenomenal vocal talents of danish singer gry who performs here in here native tongue. two entirely distinctive remixes come courtesy of labelmate black light smoke and the other is by nsi., who should need no introduction. pharoah in the morning remixes will be out on limited edition vinyl from scissor and thread soon. look for leland in february 2012.

brian mcnasby aka heights, and rob paine aka worship, are bringing their track, teach dem dub, back home to worship recordings. the dub version of the track was originally released on the portland based label zamzam sounds on 45 vinyl, and it immediately sold out. teach dem dub will be released both digitally and on vinyl by worship, and packaged with three new interpretations of the single. since its release back in january 2014, the single gained a plethora of notoriety and was reviewed on mixmag.com in the month of march. mixmag scored the track a 9 out of 10 and commended heights + worship on constructing a piece of deepness that hasnt been heard in ages.
