im a cliches first release of 2016 comes from label boss cosmo vitelli. after a five year hiatus during which he was kept busy by his band bot ox and relocating from paris to berlin, this is the very first release to come out of his new studio located in berlins marzahn district.

teaming up with syke n sugarstarr & dbn from hamburg cosmo hits the dancecharts in several countries like britain, spain, austria, france and staying on no. 1 for several weeks in germany with >my belief<. the song beautiful lie, a cooperation with keemo & tim royko became a huge no. 1 hit in portugal and brazil. in portugal his fans let cosmo win the best live act award 2011 of one the biggest portoguese radiostations nova era. 2, 7 million clicks on you tube only for beautiful lie speak for itself.
the song feel alive, written & composed by cosmo & jean elan also reached international awareness hitting the floors and radiostations in mexico, canada, usa, russia and germany reaching 2 million clicks on you tube up to now. feel alive and the new rocking single with producer tim royko called everlasting now managed to manifest the rising success of cosmo in germany, internationally and especially in portugal by being top ten airplay hits on national radiostations and finding huge support on the dancefloors as well.
2012 is full of more highlights he will team up with legendary producers like tocadisco & getting back together with jean elan again, and now he presents his debut on purple music: with seven days that is already in several dj and radio charts!

the ep opens with >hypnotic bass<, a track with a very groovy gnaoua rythm. the sound of the guembri gives the production a very warm sensation. next up is >deep medina<, the title track. a real journey, the vocals are strong while sidi mohammeds lute elicits shivers. the melody manages to sound traditional while modern at the same time. >for hou!!!<, the closing track, philip bader perfectly works the acoustic samples, resulting in a characteristically berlin minimal sound. the kick and the bass are very heavy.

cosmo vitelli, i’m a cliché’s founder and head, heard the voice of our unruly feet after taking us on a long car journey with botox. night dogs is his first solo ep in a long time. and he’s back to the dancefloor with an unexpectedly nervous pace.

lance is back at it again. deep naked music vibe n house with sub-aquatic atmosphere and heavenly grooves. diving low end that pushes subtle melody and fill the bottomless void that lance is infamous for creating. heavy uk vibe on the production that touches upon 16b, odori, and charles webster. siesta leading the pack once again.

played by: laurent garmier, josh wink, slam, m.a.n.d.y. , axel bartsch...cosmo braun alias kenny leaven comes up with part 2 of his soulmate collection. after the big success of part 1 (de:bug charts #21) he get in touch with the third dimension. contact is a real peak-time bomb with his own definion of modern house, infected with a strong voice and spheric jupiter sounds. a special track is st. elmo s fire. it is a tribute to one of his heroes, brian eno.

cosmo anarchy vol.2 goes a little darker. two tracks with strong atmosphere still very funky and 1 sweet old school house track on the a2 make this ep very special. a mood in between daniel bell and christian vogel. for the a1 we have for the first time on the label a strong dubstep track! great dj tool. as for the b side it?s freaky funky techno, a dark and soulful dancefloor track! s-max comes back on telegraph with cosmo anarchy presented in 2 singles released in a row. each single is moody and souful - 3 minimal-funk tracks with killer groove! s-max productions differ between house (moodymann/ jovonn/ nugroove), minimal (dbx/ todd sines), crispy+funky (herbert/ ark/ perlon/ akufen/ morgan geist) and funky techno (christian vogel, tobias schmidt, neil landstrumm, claude young). generally influenced by classic detroit/ chicago/ early warp and the whole brighton- stuff.
