peter kadergard has been active in the helsingborg (sweden) electronic music scene since the early 1990 s. he was involved in various collaborations during the 90 s and appeared on a few cassette releases under the names grodans fodelsedag. marchentraum and mannix system. peter released his first rittowski record on the borft sub label djuring phonogram in 2004. apart from this electro project peter is a member of the bands goz mongo alliance and inyurmania. who has made a few releases on the ufo mongo. pripuzzi and skiboy record labels. this is new electro!
a wild electro / trash techno ep with full of heart and emotional feelings. its wild when it comes to the rhythm section. classic electro but also real punshing 4/4 beat. emotional when it comes to the melodies - so so sweet!!
raw dirty jacking tracks fatter than a ferry to helsingor! nimam spregleda provides 4 tracks representing the underground sound of helsingborg and its tradition of embracing sounds from both chicago and karlskrona. most tracks are on the gritty acid house slant but with a weird punk attitude & the last one is a nutball out-of-sync dancefloor wrestler for drunken sailors. yes. you need some smalltown dang from nimam spregleda before the ferry arrives. -dj joakim cosmo
hailing from helsingborg but living in berlin since 2012. swedish street artist and electronic musician erik jaahalli releases his debut on borft. with smudgy analog romantic morning theme tracks bordering between chicago house. detroit techno and european new beat influences. but what youre hearing is geographically the sound of lichtenberg berlin now and more specifically the morning vibe at the private continous party domestic affairs. lennie the cat and dong xuan center included. -dj joakim cosmo
sometimes a year becomes 20. and this is the case with jesper bellfrog rydbergs second coming on borft records since his debut in 1997. as dj jespha galore. he is a super solid dj arranger and inspiration on the swedish electronic scene since mid 90s. and hailing from borft records friendtown helsingborg this record differs a bit from the traditional karlskrona sound and goes into softer territory with classic acidhouse sounds and friendly melodic funky electronic disco. at times almost bordering to italian pouch pouch vibes with shiny cars and prosecco. buy doubles and you got a cool little set bordering between acidhouse and electronic disco. / joakim cosmo
a1 is a deeply psychotic acid death march into confusion. so minimal and primitive (kick. snare. acidsquelch) it will challenge every beard and armpit and might even hypnotize the dj to the point he cannot mix in the next one. a2 is a straight up commodore 64 sid track with mongoloid data elephants tooting over a wobbly and tarded electroish beat. b1 is a dystopic dreamy rave stomper. starting out kinda datacuddly but gets more and more serious. with choirs of fable mooers taking you into that virtual bad trip you need. b2 continues as expected with more c64 sid madness. so snary i cant even determine if its in 115 or 230bpm.
ass spanking funky futuristic wobbly disharmonic robot wanking at its best! a must have for all fans of the karlskrona sound! this is the shit that makes you wanna move to the small town and have pizza at sorrento every day. dj joakim cosmo. sweden.
boston meets brooklyn in a pretty ruff and sometimes dark ep. isabella side starts with a technoid house track to follow by the experimental a bit faster and ruffer second track. bergsonist (selwa) side starts with a heavely distorted beat and bassline to follow up with a jacki n swirvel.
petter svensson aka nebula recently had a release out co-operated with kord which sound were more in the hard techno ebm edge. here is a more limited sound and so far nebula has it s limited gear... neverless. here is -less is more- used no other gear than an old yamaha drummachine. some volca and a mastersynth. co-operation and post-production by jbs.
after about 30 years as techno/house/synth dj. borft now release joakims debut album. you can hear that he really knows what it takes to get your crowd crazy. this record is full off classic (yet bizzarre) house/acid/disco styled stuff and on the entrance track he got company by wonderful vocalist silvia on a classic trip chicago - helsingborg.... check this def. out!!!
daniel andreasson. a brilliant swedish producer. previous released on tabernacle. skudge. zodiac 44 to mention some. his release on borft shows a dirty lowtech techno that really works on the floor. this is a limited edition of 300 copies.
love surrender original and three other takes + two synthetic messages from studio styrka. that is what this vinyl contains. love surrender has a more synthier style than the tracks recently released on bio rhythm.
this 12inch contains some true oddities. frak is not known for doing remixes but here is one of the few that exists. a nice acid remix of dave id - soul reprise. also they did a special track to finish off the 2013 tours and heres the splendid studio version of phase.
another excursion for the genre independent borft label. celebrated artist obergman delivers a six tracker record for fans of acid and electro. the release is initiated with the drexciyan styled electro track germination with occasional strings that brings some light in the atmosphere of desolate landscapes. followed by the groovy electrotech melodic track unexpected connection the acid techno workout acid healing slowly builds with sweet melodic strings into floorfilling potential while the b-side begins with inflatable. a bass ridden driving acid techno track with ominous melodic stabs that works well when doing a build-up mix into more frenzy territory. the b2 track greenglow explores rocking acid lines bonded by delicate smooth detroit styled strings. last track of the record. universal hologram. is a strong beautiful electro track with great electric pulses. melancholic atmosphere and subtle strings.. -momenth
echnical playful acidic techno created in malmoe - sweden. simon recently had a track out on the lackmus compilation (borft119). before that some mysterious 12inches were released on kontra-musik... this is new. present updated. white vinyl limited to 300x too...
so far the most -punk- release in the borft catalog. this is the meeting between johan sturesson (kord) and petter svensson (nebula). while petter has his background as a punkrocker johan has some years of experience in the electronic vein this meeting result in a ebm/punk/techno ep dirtier than ever. lim ed 300x handstamped + sticker.
new years deal - on side a you will find two classic tech-house tunes but yet dark underground. the single track on side b is a long travell slowly changing it s acid theme. more experimental & minimal than we are used to hear from tilliander.
anders enges interest in modular synthesizers comes from a desire to shut down conscious decisions about form and to focus on rhythm and timbre. this does however not land in traditional techno but rather in a riff-oriented style. the riff being both rhythm and melody and also a morphing entity in the music. drums and percussion attempt to follow this entity. while maintaining a link to the dance music pulse. the resulting style makes for a hybrid timewarped experience of travelling a parallell electronic music reality. a brooding technoid that grooves
henrik bengtsson from swedish helsingborg is the man behind this alias. other outfit is goz mongo alliance whith a sound from the uk era 79-81. with this soloproject there is only old drummmachines and crappy synth involved and some small lyrics too.. and.. this is brain-disco. mekano style!
this compilation contains both some real veterans and some that will appear on vinyl for the first time. first out is brunst (aka njurmannen) with his deep and soft old style detroit feeling track. after that anders enge will take you into a real nice nightmare for the chillout or killout.last on side a is simon w. with this experimental acid-burner... first out on side b is joakim cosmo. a swedish veteran dj now taking his mood into producing a hot chaotic track. then villa abo do the intrance with a mystic sweet synth-club track. the last one on this record is jon doppler. an artist from chicago. here with a jacky weird stompe
this is peel mds second release. juggernaut represents a slightly different sound than the previously grip released 2012. still yet this is real skew acid and deep enough too drown in all the massive sounds
second press of this classic splitlp from 2003. a period in borfts history that was very silent and strange. wicked. minimal. dark & funky electronic dance- stuff. the original press was a co-production together with te records
