every piece of paper has its own role in the big picture of a complex collage. every fractal structure finds the same pattern as we continue to zoom into it. apply these facts to the echoes and reverbs wrapped around the atmosphere that resides into distant dub references and you can catch a fair glimpse from the newest motif release.
a master in applying the laws of reductionism within his signature sound, adrian niculae signs yet another powerful statement under the motif vision: consensual ep

if you ever had been struck by the feeling of letting everything go away, right in the middle of the dance floor and you couldnt explain what was happening to you, then you have to listen to adrian niculae’s atipic 001. side a delivers nine minutes of carefully crafted momentum, adding layer over layer of tension. side b connected at an almost imperceptible level with the first track cuts deep within our electronic souls injecting us waves of rolling techno wearing adrian s obsession for subtle details.
with the sequel just been released, adrian younge reissues part 1 of his collaboration with ghostface killah on his own linear labs label. originally released in 2013 on rzas soul temple imprint.

less than a year ago adrian niculae, aka priku, released motif 001 which was shortly followed by his second release in early spring this year. now things are getting serious and we have 3 discs to celebrate motif 003 as well as adrians first album. 8 tracks have been carefully selected to fulfill this mission, all carrying adrians acoustic legacy forward.
ever-reliable talent scouts, sinnmusik bring together two more auspicious names - barcelona based adrian and collaborative duo, vague recollection for back n front vol. 1, a raucous concoction of rattling percussion and hefty low-end grooves.
it has been a while since jaxson & david keno have been on keno records but it was worth the wait. calippo is an absolute banger. driven by this oldschool deep bassline climaxing in a breakdown filled with detroit strings this track already rocked many dancefloors all over the world. oliver schories takes it down a notch, gets rid of the strings and takes it into a more melancholic direction but still very danceable. the remix from adrian martin pushes calippo even a bit more in the tech house direction.
adrian niculae is pleased to announce his second release under his own motif imprint. electrip ep comes with two tracks, revealing again his own typical approach to micro house. a smooth bass line with melodic synths on side a merged with a groovy, percussive track with a taste of acid on side b. another excellent work coming from romania, 180gr quality record with full artwork.
adrian niculae, also known as priku is one of bucharests finest djs and producers. after releasing for labels like arpiar and all inn he has now decided to release and produce independently. going forward, motif will feature most of his work, as well as some of his close aquaintances. acoustic is the name chosen for motif 01 and experiment is the game. similar to his last experience with arpiar, bonita mariposa is a dreamy, yet pumping track, filled with shakers and spikes that go along perfectly with the dark piano. afterhour delight or possibly an intricate starter, it could be either of them. marker keeps the piano but inserts more rhythm, more percussion, more mystery while micro house is blended with 808 rims and an addictive synth that will surely keep you...

rough house and detroit techno killer tracks on this new vinyl from vibe me!!! the new member of the family adrian rodd (catwash/movements) signs the single since 1990, a powerfull old house bomb where the groove and the dirty vocal line push loud till the end! simply amazing. big sound from the new techno talent jonas kopp on the first remix of the release. no words needs. he rules. the second remix on b1 was touched from one of the most interesting artist coming out now. whim-ee from france. we are just proud to release her sound. listen to believe. the last remix its from mussen, label manager of vibe me. that close the release with an hard-techno kick and dark bassline. just for clubbers.
record store day is synonymous with exclusive and limited releases and this year is no different. featuring a collaboration ep with adrianyounge from venice dawn and black dynamite fame and adrian quesada from the echocentrics, ocote soul sounds, brownout and grammy-winning grupo fantasma. a first name is not all adrian younge and adrian quesada share, they also both have an equal love of the psychedelic, the cinematic and at the root of it all, soul music. so it was inevitable that a collaboration would eventually come to fruition. mutual admirers of each others work, they first met at the sxsw music festival while on the same bill. both began their production careers on mpc and taught themselves various instruments to further capture the symphonies heard in their heads. fresh off his current solo project something about april under the moniker venice dawn, adrian younge found time to create all new tracks with adrian quesada who just released his echoland tribute to timbaland with the echocentrics. although both are distinct artists in their own right, they are cut from the same cloth with a signature sound thats equal parts morricone, early portishead, wu-tang and 60s psychedelic cinema soundtracks. their combined efforts on this ep guarantees a double dose of the sound we have come to expect from these talented individuals.
das debütalbum von adrian zaar als doppelvinyl im gatefold-cover. das 1. vinyl enthält die original-titel, die auf der 2. scheibe von we love machines, johnny rox, mastra, beats on demand und anderen geremixt wurden.
introducing the jab jab of grenada. adrian lenz & sandman deliver exceptional hypnotic dancefloor inflictions. for j ouvert, the jab jab covered in oil take to the streets drinking rum from 2 in the morning. >cover me< is a call to arms. pulsating horns and rampant drums drive adrian lenz s ecstatic vocal cries, causing a riot of impassioned urgency. bells reverberate the dread march of >no prisoners<, sandmans stone-faced premonition commands the percussive undulations of this cavernous riddim.
>sooner or later< by tom clark and martin eyerer is a classy and solid club tune. both masterminds are offering their own >sooner or later< interpretation on this release. tom clarks mix shows a rough and full body, clear structures and is highly seductive. martin eyerers mix is softer with a touch of minimalistic retro-chic. as both interpretations enjoy the same musical introduction the personality of each stands out even stronger making it a treat to the listeners ears. the daniel dreier & dale remix is an intense opposite to the original versions a techno-esque and sparkly ear feast, while the adrian martin & klangwerk remix has a softer approach pairing addictive beats to an ecstasized bass line. all in all >sooner or later< is a 4 track release featuring 4 outstanding visions of the moment in-between sooner or later, a vision for each and every one of us.
this is the second half of the story of >show< - the 12 inch vinyl >showtime<. a rock hard uncompromised dub/dub-step influenced ep with 2 new andreas tilliander tracks and 2 exceptional remixes.
played by dfa, boris dlugosch, phones, maral salmassi, jerry bouthier, cajuan, freeform five… azzido da bass is certainly a busy boy! this year he has been touring the world playing various shows in bejing, london and singapore. and on top of running his own label >luscious sounds< he has managed to find time to write and produce yet another track for it. and here it is >so wrong< feat adrian holtz on vocals. after the success of his last single >lonely by your side< feat. jonny blake of zoot woman with remixes by booka shade and play paul, >so wrong< is set to be a winner especially with its grinding remix from speaker junk. so wrong starts off with a late 80s-tastic m.a.r.r.s influenced beat, until a pleasing thick and squidgy bass line bounces in…
