bondage music label-founders pornbugs return to the imprint this september with their ‘pacho’ ep, backed with remixes from pablo bolivar and phillipp gonzales. leipzig/berlin based duo pornbugs make a welcome return to their own label here with two new original cuts, ‘pacho’ opens the package with stripped-back drums, a bulbous bass line and choppy piano chords running alongside a bubbling arpeggio lead and tension building stab sequences. pablo bolivar’s rawmake of pacho follows, edging things into deeper territory with dropped tempo dusty drums, airy pads and an amalgamation of wandering, resonant synth lines. the second half of the release, pencilled for release as vinyl only features another original from pornbugs, entitled ’larica’ and featuring a similar aesthetic to the lead with fluttering dubby chords, a refined drum groove and unfolding atmospherics carrying the groove before label regular phillipp gonzales turns in his remix to complete the package, taking things in a more raw direction with heavily swung crunchy drums, pulsating filtered stabs and billowing vocal murmurs.
e-missions co-founder p.leone returns to radio slaves rekids this september with the my lita project backed with remixes from mark broom. originally hailing from new york, p.leone now resides in berlin where he helms his e-missions imprint with releases from himself and co-founder caiazzo, exciting new artists like rush plus and tred, not to mention remixes from young male, spencer parker and lawrence lee. leone has also dropped a variety of releases on rekids and work them records, when not making regular appearances at clubs like tresor. he now returns to radio slaves respected imprint with ‘the my lita project, following up his highly lauded el dorado ep that garnered support from ben sims, jackmaster and spencer parker. my lita kicks things off with classic synths, piercing strings and choppy vocals slices whilst robust drums march forward. meanwhile, tight in the pocket is more dark and menacing in comparison with its syncopated percussion, echoing claps and ethereal atmospherics. on the flip, mark broom drops two different remixes of my lita the first is a robust cut complete with disco elements like funky guitar licks and soulful voice, with the originals stabs shining throughout, whilst the second remix takes a different route with its crunchy snares, moaning murmurs and fuzzy effects.

le matin, always rare and uncategorised, following the reissue of his early synthwavepop tunes on poussiere depoque and a track on the good lena wilikens dekmantel selectors 005 comp, this new ep on lost dogs ent. let you hear some of his last works. expect an ultra-cold-minimal-electro riddim, a less-mental-nearly-good-for-the-dancefloor tune with depitched haunted r&b vocals, an analog and bassy arpeggio ride on the flip side, oh my god! this is the peak-time-for-weirdo-nearly-techno tune, a blast, only for craziest djs that like broken-frustrated-uncomfortable dandefloors and to finish this well balanced 5 trackers: the are you depressed that much? its the 10th time youre listening to this ost of a dying world, this wont get any better but at least this is good music! tune. le matin is a good kept secret that prefer to take care of his kids than to travel the world of nightclubbing with drunk teens (ok thats how it is in france, that looks better in some other countries), but sometime you can hear his music on decks of some wise people and djs like call super, lena wilikens, house of traps, charles drakeford, jon k, bergsonist, body motion

ahus debut album from 2017, nord dream, was something of an overlooked gem from that year, but its musical palette of dubwise techno and ambient sounds caught the ears and enthusiasm of many. danny clancy was one such admirer, and in turn brings ahus sophisticated sounds to his dichotomy records label for the ‘atlas ep.
elegant universe a full-length album by matthew hayes and joel trigg is a must listen for fans of the celestial jazz sound of ecm. their soft, seductive duets are incredibly inviting, in a way that seems to encompass and enliven the space around you. unsurprisingly, itd be sure to add warmth to cold winter commutes, and dull the edge of even the fiercest hangovers. the wintry downtime is a tour de force of the duos sense of restraint and the importance placed on individual sounds that swell together and drift apart with organic ease. on light through edinburgh leaves, the sounds themselves seem so three-dimensional, ringing out like ripples on a lake. its hard not to be captivated by such beautifully formed music.
te records presents on this beautiful 12” picture disc collection six tracks of electro-pop music, yet all songs sound different from the other. smea, who has produced the music, has invited six vocalists from gothenburg (including himself) to put lyrics on top of each track. the result is synth, dark wave, techno, break beat, electro boogie sounding coolness!
with sincere excitement có,,,meme is now delivering katerinas very first ep to planet earth: just when you thought it was over. katerina from helsinki - finland via sofia - bulgaria is a passionate music lover, a skillful dj, an imaginative music maker and an emotional and hyper sensitive artist. she produces music that is essential and timeless, tracks that feel necessary in your life once they have entered it. katerina has already contributed to the ever growing, always radical and forward thinking catalogue of the có,,,meme music collective, with tracks on the compilations solidarity forever vol. 1 and 3. she also hosts a show on radio có,,,meme called radio emotsiya, in which she generously shares her broad musical knowledge and her very particular musical obsessions, for instance her steady – and in our opinion very understandable - veneration of dj quik. and yes, her music breathes the emotionality of hip hop, the sensitivity of well placed, swinging beats, and that steady survival mode, that essential melancholy in dance music: where melodies tell about love and longing, and rhythms help you to keep going on.just when you thought it was over, here we go again, its another day on planet emotsiya, from where katerina sends us reports about her adventures, always sided by her already legendary white cat nopo

fracture has always tried to support upcoming and interesting newcomers, people they believe in. chevel is one of them, and in 2014 came his first ep for fracture under his alias signalweiss. he returns now for round two. in 4 years, he has managed to establish himself as a prolific and talented artist with a steady stream of records on labels such as stroboscopic artefacts. chevel is an artist who likes to mix things up, always striking an interesting balance between experimentation and more dance floor oriented tunes. with -feelings- and -forbona-, he creates quite abstract but still effective dance music. it is for the club, but it is not mindless bangers. in the hands of pablo mateo, -forbona- turns into a more mental piece of techno. all in all, this new fracture release provides great tools for the smarter selectors out there.
there smokes and whistles in zenker’s machine jungle. the best loved and best known brothers of the techno scene are causing a multi-layered schwirbler, which is likely to destroy many dancefloor lasting for years. jelly3000 are essika and andreas damaschun. “wave a wand” is lashed forward by a powerful-impulsive arp, while synths and piano dances light-footed about it and spreads a sustained mood. kessel vale has recently caused quite a stir with two eps on tanstaafl planets and rhythm nation. “stroke” should further expand its reputation as an idiosyncratic excellent producer with a penchant for the playful. steril – that artist you may know from international deejay gigolo records, erkrankung durch musik, schamoni musik, lasergun and müller records…oldschool.
for our 10th release, we have compiled a double-vinyl package featuring various artists who hail from our hometown of toronto. with music from veteran and new names in equal measure, the collection is as diverse as the city’s influences. the common thread throughout — and the ethos of our label — is dance music with a future-facing bent.

computer controlled delves back into deep space with norwell’s interkosmos ep. five tracks of russian space race era influenced electro/techno. hotly tipped last year by helena hauff and with a string of releases under his belt from the likes of umwelt’s new flesh, dalmata daniel, pinkman and his own label with imre kiss, crisis, norwell is definitely one to keep an eye on.
goldbrick records third release comes from irish duo ringolevio. made over the course of a few months in various rooms around dublin, the record sways from playful electro to straight up jams with a few emotions in between. as more and more young people can’t afford to live in dublin city, ringolevio has some advice: eat your landlord, stone the dáil, defecate in the banks, moon the dup, hammer neo-liberalism, repeal the fuck out of the eighth, vandalise the donut shops.

planet e are proud to present aw18 collection, a 3 track ep from british producer tom flynn. drawing upon a broad and learned musical understanding, aw18 collection fuses disparate strands from the worlds of fashion, club culture and sound design to forge a highly atmospheric, singular release. packard, the title of which is inspired by parties in the historic detroit power plant of the same name, establishes an unrelenting energy from the get go. a bouncing kick lays the foundations for rolling synths, unnerving vocal samples and delicate piano refrains to wander. anna is an indulgent nod to the catwalk, marching with intent amidst immersive chords and subtle melodies. the b side hosts a trippy cut full of interplanetary glitches and melancholic harmonies. drawing upon hints to the extraterrestrial, marx creates a dizzying swirl with glistening textures. carl craig was sold straight away: when tom sent me his demo of packard i knew i wanted to release it on planet e. the mix of looped electronics with soul of the piano brought me back to when i first heard the post-disco classic beyond the clouds. i can imagine the kids on the scene rockin hard to this.
jaffa surfa also known as zoltan pal is hailing from hungary and has released a few records already on other labels like tape hiss for example that already caught our attention a bit earlier. therefor we were quite happy to receive a demo from him and we signed almost all the tracks that he sent us. three tracks aiming straight at the dance floor and we hope that you enjoy and play them as much as we do.
cirez d is back again with three massive big room anthems on his mouseville imprint. straight out of the stall dare u builds and builds layering a pounding kick, soaring synths and rumbling bass enticing you in with each build up and subsequent drop, before repeating it all again to added effect. a2 - the glitch has an industrial and sinister feel to it, combining a rapid-fire bass and metallic sounding percussion before opening up into a melting pot of arps and sonic glitches. ‘black hole closes out the e.p drawing you in with a swell of synths, an unrelenting bassline and a killer kick pattern to send your mind into overdrive. with early support across the festival circuit, this is a three track weapon fit for any discerning djs arsenal.

widely acclaimed techno pioneer nicole moudaber has delivered the release of her adoption ep, a two-track production on nicoles own mood label which sees the dynamic producer tackle two tracks from one of the most important innovators of dance music since the 90s, moby. first up she offers a uniquely dark and twisted rework of like a motherless child, pitching down moby s vocals to create a deep demonic sound, verging into a range of immersive textures. on the flip side moudaber spins a heavy and grinding feel on her remix of mobys mere anarchy (taken from 2018 album everything was beautiful, and nothing hurt). moudaber packs the mix with haunting melodies, with the subtle use of orchestral sounds adding a hypnotic feel to the release.an event promoter, record label founder, radio host, and one of the most passionately followed dj/producers in the world, nicole moudaber is a one-woman army marching her muscular take on techno all over the globe.
bade records launch the first vinyl release on the label, with a four-track ep by label co-founders brothers black and tape fear.2x2 series 1 is a split vinyl, showcasing the individual styles of the duos. brothers black kick off the a1 with extrasensory, a shimmering tool with luscious, uplifting pads and a looping lead. their second contribution on the a2, late night call, is a driving euphoric weapon, perfect for the early hours of the morning. on the other side, tape fear showcase their unique sound for the first time. jump system, the lead track, provides a complex blend of old-school breaks, euphoric pads and vocal samples that will be received well in any setting. turn that thing off offers something different with a fierce 808 groove and unsettling acid lead, perfect for the early hours.
next on noorden is white afghani with his debut release »kaleidoscope ep«. the up-and-coming producer from cologne drops a dancefloor focussed five tracker between leftfield flavoured breakbeat and ambient leaning big room techno.
ow finally on vinyl: artbat are bringing their first full ep release to diynamic music. the three-tracker -planeta- starts off with the title track -planeta-, a rapid-fire techno odyssey that might as well be taken from a relentless pursuit in a futuristic action movie. this is followed by the gloomy bassline of -prometheus-. heavy on percussive elements, the track is divided in half by a cascading synth-break only to return with more layers of percussions, strings and the hypnotic bassline. closing off the ep is -sand in your shoes- featuring london based artist dino lenny, who has previously worked with madonna or wu-tang clan and produced remixes for underworld, missy elliot or timbaland. the collab track is a dreamy deep-house tune and a perfectly emotive way to finish the record.
the bulgarian but scandinavian based duo and friends of the label: ivaylo & slammer have decided to start exploring the deeper depths of techno with their first release on cymawax, hidden origins ep. the 2 original tracks on the a-side are a statement of the change of sound the duo are making, and in what direction they are going... darker, trippier and more electronic. label partners trulz & robin delivers a remix of “hidden” on the b side that will surely find it’s way into the bags of the dj’s that like to mix their records rather than play one tune after the other, while echoing those timeless warehouse sounds we all know and love
hns-x made a new record after a while: „the music was new, black polished chrome and came over the summer like liquid night.“ hns-x drops another cup of fluent acid (any tin man fans around? tune in!) and bangin techno on the flip!
debut double lp album from blakk harbor the greek berlin based artist and sound designer behind native instruments, angelos liaros. soaring drones, dark ambiences and expertly crafted sound design. “madares” title derives from the actual dune mountains of crete. this moonlike landscape a sacred land of ancient ceremonies and the main inspiration for the album concept, cover and artwork. percussive samples and drones are created from traditional custom cretan instruments (lute, skin drums, lyra, tsabouna) & world instruments (tibetan bowls, gongs, dungchen horns) granulized to death drones through modular synths and hardware samplers. a black hole soundtrack that sucks you in tearing the fabric of space and time. enter a ritualistic occult trip to the unknown. limited to 250 copies on double vinyl with download code included, no separate digital release.
klorex 55 has moved his base to hawaiian latitudes where he hangs out with the king himself. they have been seen in a brand new cadillac each other day crusin around. these songs where made in-between filling up gasoline. pure electro car love songs.
the sheep s fall ep is the latest result of dahraxt s freaky mind keeping that path of harmonic doughty techno rhythm with 90s nostalgia, already shown through previous releases on his own imprints jtseries and picnic34. the release seeps a clear message: the most dangerous thing in life is an incompetent that has been given the chance to rule the world.
very cinematic, tunnel visioned & on-going arpeggiated synth-techno in two versions by stiletti-ana (half of jesse from last years twotinos lp on keys of life). a-side with steady kick and feedbacked percussions riding through a deep, analogic, cloudy and live drummed landscape. b-side highlights the scope with no drums, except the ever lasting cymbals.
solar phenomena continues a high quality and high rate of releases after eps from the likes of stl and fluxion with a new one from mystica tribe - the musical alias of tokyo-based producer, taka noda. here he draws on everything from dub, soul, bass music, rhythm and blues and will always freak you out with his unusual sounds.
this excellently absorbing ep starts with “love is all right”, a fusion of asian percussion and reggae drums that is high tempo and funky. the bright steelpan sounds offset the razor sharp percussion and make for a sunny dub that will get any crowd going. the same fusion vibes continues but in more blissed out and slow motion fashion on “lawn track”, the beautiful cosmic psyche-out that is “ash” and supple space journey that is “voyage” with its intoxicating melodies and loose, tumbling percussion. this is unusual but essential music from an exclusive talent.
here you have the third installment of our pole group 50 milestone release, closing the trilogy in both vinyl and digital formats. all tracks have been made in common, each of the label foundational members have work sound parts that in a second process have been assigned randomly to others to work with them, in a creation loop that becomes somehow the true essence of the label. you ll never know who is making what, it s just oscar mulero, exium and reeko in essence and mixed up.
p.e.a.r.l. is launching the fifteenth installment of his falling ethics series with two versions of a serious club destroyer that has been released on the label back in the early days of falling ethics. sorrows has been reflipped to a 2018 version that is sounding modern, large and in sync with the current aesthetics in techno music. while this version can be located on the b-side, on the a-side we find a larger than life cub version (karl o conner & simon shreeve) that will definitely turn some heads over the next few months. reworking classics is not always needed but in this case, it’s a welcome addition completely in harmony with the times.
donor, the brooklyn-based artist, known for his releases on stroboscopic artefacts, semantica and prosthetic pressings, steps up on sublunar with a brand new ep. the record consists of three original cuts plus a remix from the key figure in the legendary no way back parties and the bunker ny resident patrick russell.
reform, the tuscan techno duo, make a return to etruria beat to follow up the success of 2017s ‘checkmate ep, remixed by amelie lens and their recent ep on second state with a huge new offering - unconventional spaces. reform present three fresh originals, backed by a massive rework from etruria boss luca agnelli. unconventional spaces is a melodic and timeless work, perfect for a magic sunrise closing set. luca delivers a heavier rework, creating a special atmosphere with powerful chords that drift back and forth. just this is characterised by a raw triple stab, a vocal laid down by the guys themselves and an emotional and mysterious break. closing the ep is span, which is composed of bouncing tom samples, straight hats and a moogy bass that develops throughout the arrangement, a perfect peaktime number and strong finalé.
preceding the release of his debut album, curses presents gold & silber, a five track ep led by a hypnotic, post-punk leaning roller, as well as four additional remixes from antoni maiovvi, chinaski and fango. for the title track, berlin based artist perel provides cathartic vocals on top of a drowsy rhythmic framework drawing influence from early ebm, synth music and new wave. fango provides a more angular, computerised take on the original, whilst antoni maiovvi raises the heat to a peak time flow. across two interpretations, chinaski provides maximal 80s synth work on the painkiller bonus vmix and trippy dancefloor energy on the tech noir remix.
the first release on standards & practices since the widely acclaimed remixes of talker’s “battle standards” ep (by surgeon / regis / broken english club) from late last year, “live from frankfurter strasse” represents the first recorded collaborative effort from jonathan krohn (stave, also 1/2 of talker) and jan grebenstein (downwards, horo).

on respective edges of america — oregon and maine — keith kenniff records quiet music at night. “when things are calmer,” he says. “my mind is less distracted when i know that everything is dark outside.” for over a decade, such has been the mode — nocturnal, unrushed, using the same mini-cassette recorder, -a lovely little imperfect way to treat sounds- — for one of the country’s most understated composers. kenniff has housed dozens of ambient releases under the name helios since 2004, alongside post-classical output as goldmund, shoegaze pop with his wife hollie as mint julep, and commissions for fi,,,,lm and television. it is a reliably transportive body of work that s earned kenniff a cult following, and a genuine modesty that’s kept him on the fringes, right where he prefers, in the dark.
the vinyl lp includes a download code.

after two years unearth noise returns with a second dosage on lfi. and the light beams will guide the way arrives as a double lp with one disc from unearth noise and the other from his collaboration with vocalist myrh, together they are dreamspeak. unearth noises solo works delve into familiar territory. at times reminiscent of his debut on the label -prayer and resonance his signature, dense and mesmerizing sound world develops on this second outing, harnessing a frenetic energy that dissolves like devil dust. dreamspeak create a transcendental experience that beguiles listeners one that is equally as haunting as it is enchanting
first lp in new series from finland, this subdue jazz drone album has the quality of dusk, but is never darker than the nordic summers. atonal & forceful at times, still padded and invitingly warm, it has 4 classy pieces that enjoy being on the fringes while slowly capturing the ear when organs drone, the tr-808 thumps, the percussive double bass and the saxophone layers fog of melodic growing waves of groove.
second edition of the peace feast industries 20 year releases - with tangling & whirling synths run over arpeggio based themes and dynamic compositions (as well as sound level!). a-side runs with bongo percussions on a disco tempo and the b is up-in-tempo, for a heftier ride - (slightly xmas-sounding arpeggios, if santa was on acid that is).
ismo laakso s very well produced and spaceously mixed ofelia (from 1996-99) is a blend of industrial, avant garde, modern classic, bleeps and clicks. the narrative of this album sometimes undefinably blurs the lines between recorded material & samples, and also juxtapose the main grooves with highly psychedelic sound effects and (beautiful) melodies.
the first release on standards & practices since the widely acclaimed remixes of talker’s “battle standards” ep (by surgeon / regis / broken english club) from late last year, “live from frankfurter strasse” represents the first recorded collaborative effort from jonathan krohn (stave, also 1/2 of talker) and jan grebenstein (downwards, horo).
standard edition on black vinyl.
ceremony in the stillness is the new album from a-sun amissa - released september 14th via gizeh records and consouling sounds. for its fourth full-length, a-sun amissa plunges deeper than before. guitars come to the fore. heavy, distorted chords are present from the off, complemented by desolate ambient passages of sound. the claustrophobic atmospheres remain but combine with a new density and sonic experimentation to present a huge leap forward in structure and composition
glaswegian sound wizards mr tc and lo kindre step up for the next neubau ep and deliver two dubbed out slow jams. both original tracks make up a super hypnotic listening experience with the right amount of bass impact! for the b-side label boss heap created a remix which could easily soundtrack a visual sequence depicting your idea of time travel
la rioja in spain may not be thought of as a hotbed of avant garde techno and electronica, but psychoskunk has been quietly issuing an uncompromising salvo of proudly underground releases since as far back as 2004. error etica, an alias from label boss victor martinez, is at the controls for this tenth vinyl release on the label, and he s sounding as proudly left of centre as ever. diatonic scale locks into an insistent groove, but the real magic of the track lies in the grubby notes punching their way around the drums, capped off with artful distortion that gives a wonderful bite to the production. tetratonic scale keeps things fuzzy but blows the rhythms wide open for a more poised, patient kind of techno incantation. r2pis remix of the track meanwhile clamps it back in order with a stern beat and a slow-release minimalism guiding the evolution of the track.
after last years excellent discoveries from volume 1, another batch of lost and unreleased dutch (cassette) material is coming back to the future. for this sequel we dug deep into the dutch lowlands and again found some independent music thats still relevant today. in the process we met even more amazing musicians and heard great stories from a distant-not-so-distant past. expect a wide palette of diy and experimental sounds by artists from groningen, zwolle, arnhem, the hague, rotterdam, tilburg and deurne. volume 2 will also feature a beautifully designed inlay with liner notes in dutch and english. mastered by wouter brandenburg, designed by steele bonus and compiled by mark van de maat.
five years in the making, this third lp ‘in my last life’ represents a humanising of the enigmatic producer’s sound - comprised of 8 heartfelt and emotional songs penned and delivered by norwegian singer/songwriter ane brun and the incredible alison may respectively. it is also, quite simply, his defining work to date. an artistic statement and a perfectly considered body of work, ‘in my last life’ owes very little to the dancefloor that andrew is often associated with - instead drawing its inspirations from influences as far and wide as kate bush, atoms for peace, aphex twin and talk talk. through its 8 songs, the lp plots an enchanting, carefully spun tale of love and loss - explored through the narrative prisms of reincarnation and immortality. taken as one cohesive and beautifully constructed whole, the 8-track lp represents an journey that will surprise, stun and overwhelm those that submit to its charms - a truly personal masterpiece with all the musicality and detail that andrew’s fans know and love him for.
tech-droppers fronts a coil of six acidic, harmonizing, well programmed, whizzing and straight to the bone dance punchers. the string of snappy snares, rainy cymbals, steps of cuts & drops, as well as the sequenced balance of high flying chords, rolling rhythms and solidly sectioned stabs keeps all tracks absolutely straight to the point.
deeply rooted & slowly explosive, estonian andres lõo slides from loud guitar skanks to rumbling toms, all capturing periods of dub, jazz, folk music and the drama of an orchestrated band surrounding the estonian seto peoples musical background. b-side carries a generously beautiful xylophone, played, recorded and manipulated gently. both sides highly polarizing his debut album skeletons on rock (laton, 2009).
lp + cd with live recordings by icelandic ghostigital & finnbogi pétursson from reykjavik’s legendary bar sirkus & gallery i8, as well as danube festival, krems/austria plus an exclusive radio hit. all tracks are recorded from extremely loud concerts with on-site ultra low frequency installations. sonically this is classic – avant garde – electronic improvised noise & experimental music.
for their third release keepsakes and jaded nineties raver’s haven imprint are welcoming young irish rising rave upstart tommy holohan to the label for his debut vinyl release - “skull crushing techniques”. making his name through his residency at the techno & cans club night at dublin’s legendary party spot hanger, holohan also showed off his production ability through his dance hit “subaru impreza” and his recent ep on civil disobedience, earning him support and tips from some of the biggest djs from across the spectrum, from mall grab to dax j.
croatia s hot new electro imprint innerspace returns with their second release after a successful start with morphology and silicon scally! this time presenting a various selection with mesmerising tracks by maroje t, lithium flux, kan3da and datawave!
auf seinem neuen album -r.u.r.- lässt der berliner produzent djedjotronic den kalten maschinen warme herzschläge folgen und umgekehrt. aufgenommen in einem basement in südfrankreich, besitzt -r.u.r.- eine techno-futuristische thematik über moderne isolation, robotik, ki, simulation und cyborgs, während es musikalisch hinweise auf ähnlich gelagerte produzenten-legenden wie cybotron, if, the hacker und ivan smagghe (zu seinen glorreichen dj-tagen im pariser pulp) gibt. der aggressivste dancefloor-moment ist zweifellos -take me down- mit douglas mccarthy (nitzer ebb) on vocals, ein industrial-arpeggio-monstertrack.
after having traveled around the world and performing his own music since 2006, re:axis delivers a new record for planet rhythm. “energy in motion ep” is the newest work from the lisbon based producer. energy in motion is a 4 track pack that covers a lot of re:axis’ sonic pallette.
planet jarre - 50 years of music from the godfather of electronic music. 4x 180gr vinyl in deluxe hardcover vinyl-book with downloadcode included. contains 41 tracks, including brand new “herbalizer” and “coachella opening”.
as well as manning his own label duro, theus mago can be found slinging out heat on turbo, kill the dj and more recently ombra. the mexican producer returns to home turf for his latest transmission, serving up one original track with two killer remixes. -inertials- is a rowdy beast in its original form, tapping up a breakbeat roll, dirty wave synth stabs and plenty more sonic debris for a cut that spans a whole lot of styles and makes them gel together seamlessly. inigo vontier takes the original and makes it into a bone-rattling drum track to batter the crowd into submission very late on in the dance. jamie paton takes a different approach on the b-side, weaving a little tenderness into the mix with some elegant synth lines that offset the raw bite of the drums beautifully.
eitr is the new brainchild of nachtzeit, the man behind ambient black metal project lustre. representing the first recording of this new adventure, hädanfärden takes us back to the time of the norse gods and the death of balder, masterminded by the ever devious loki. as the waves of mischievous, playful synth wash over our senses we are transported to asgard and any misgivings over the potential of an album without lyrics to tell a story are dispelled. are we now loki or merely observers in his game of trickery and cunning? limited edition of 300 copies on silver coloured vinyl.
