airhead, (aka rob mcandrews) a resident, founding member and spiritual ocelot of the 1-800 dinosaur crew, will be releasing a four track ep *believe*, the first of a series of releases from dan foats emerging artist collective. this believe ep is a turning point for airhead, equivalent to the moment in the film *witness* when harrison ford, as john book, realises that the hitmen (witnessed by the amish kid in the toilets) are actually policemen. the inward has been exchanged for the outward. where airheads critically acclaimed debut album *for years* was all about tip-toeing barefoot into thick carpeted darkened rooms, this new ep, inspired by two years of 1-800 dinosaur parties, is all about the boom-boom oscillation and hands-in-the-air machine gun parties.

next up on crazylegs, two fiendishly addictive garage cuts - and the first vocal material on our label - from a young veteran of the uk underground, wolverhamptons trc. one of the key players in the late-2000s bassline scene and more recently a prolific grime producer, trcs crazylegs debut sees him on dazzling form: crisp 2-step drums, trademark floor-shocker basslines and melodies so catchy you won t get them out of your head for weeks. on the remix front, a real special pairing: the legendary el-b moulds come bring it into a vintage garage banger, while beneath follows up recent tectonic & keysound releases with a hypnotic, sub-fuelled rework of you & me.

misty conditions is a project that started off when henry collins and richard wilson met up in henrys studio a couple of years ago and jammed for a few days non-stop, enjoying the process thoroughly. the connection became so good in this period that the duo developed a fluent understanding of how each other worked, ending up as a project made across the internet, while henry was living in france and richard in la. they cross pollinated by developing what each did best, henry making and creating banks of samples and richard creating software and effects to cut up and re-sample, passing the tracks back and forth, essentially until they felt finished.

amsterdam local, ivory coast progeny and grime-juke-jungle gene-splicer, h-sik makes his black acre debut in rude style with two concrete-junglist chemical weapons. first up is the muscular drum workout *sonic rage* which layers a ridiculously powerful, yet deftly chopped 808-amen bombardment with delicate citric pads, bleeps and lost droideka language. on the flip is the orwellian *no promises* a natural pairing of vangelis atmospherics and committed drum-funk workout, building with undead voices and b-boy breakdowns.

luuk graham, the hague native drops his second release with lowriders recordings. after his recent remixes, a beattape and some digi releases finally the ep is ready for the public ear. the sound has grown in depth and strength. inspired by uk bass and uk bass and dirty south hip hop scene, he fits in the hip trap/bass culture with his more uptempo tracks but as easily links to the more head-hop in the likes off shlohmo. his sound is very much 8bit - commodore infected blent of hip hop, skweee, bass and retro-futuristic-synth-science. filosofischestilte takes you into an unknown world shaped out of arpeggios, sparkling.
