solaronemusic is proud to announce this special record. andreas left us suddenly at june 20th in 2016 after long health problems. around that time we finished with him -the worst of gehm- release. he was so happy about this project!!! even one week later we got the terrible message that he died. we put alot of love and effort in this project to give him his last big monument! special thanks to all his friends and labels like mathematics recordings, abstract acid, creme organization, psycho thrill and of course bunker. rip in andreas! we will never forget you!

worst friends is ryan cavanagh and john paul jones (no, not that one) from brooklyn. they are also known amongst the beards as tom croose and slow hands. we actually suspect they are pretty good friends … making this sweet sweet music together and all … oh, and they just had a cool record out on oz-label future classic. the music sounds very unlike any short persons playing sports of any kind though slow and low is definitely the tempo. there is the beautiful balearic original, eric duncan gives us a psychedelic ride on the disco carousel and prins thomas channels the song through recently aqquired skills as a choirboy and 4 finger keyboards chords…. oh my….

worst friends bring the balearic and conquer summer in the north of the world! we are from australia though and heading into winter, its almost less than 15 degrees celsius. for real. this neat little ep is built to relieve the stress, and with eddie c of jisco fame on the remix it also bring a lot of party at the 7:15 mark.

charity compilation part 2 with tracks by martin eyerer, ds (daniel steinberg), tube & berger, format b! the dance music scene frequently uses african influenced music and rhythm. sampling vocals and percussions of african origin often help djs to achieve huge success with their tracks. meanwhile the political situation throughout the world is reaching an ever-growing imbalance from which the poorest are made to suffer. especially in africa, children have it very hard. they are growing up in an environment that offers poor resources and are exposed to a life of inhuman circumstances. no education, no medical care and worst of all, not enough to eat. in order to support these children and to aid their fight against poverty, the charity project >it began in africa< was set up by juliet sikora and tube & berger. together with other artists from the dance music scene they want to help raise money for the organization the african childrens choir. in cooperation with the african childrens choir, 18 artists made their own interpretations of the original songs from the african childrens choir. all profits made from the sale of this compilation will be donated to the choir and their further projects, i.e. building schemes, the founding of nurseries, and schools to help children get away from a life on the streets. >with this project we sincerely hope to be able to support the children of africa and empower them so that one day they will be able to help themselves.<
