following the very recent success of the fokuz group ep on penny royal, label boss paul mac teams up once again with kryptic minds to provide some more bass heavy club techno. fellow osiris artist killawatt providing a heavy alternative mix also. early dj support on this one from dave clarke, ben sims , james ruskin & oscar mulero.

techno veteran paul macs new label starts with something of a bang with this ep featuring a remix from kamikaze space programme (raiden). hefty stripped down forward looking grooves are the order of the day here definitely one for the floor. early dj support from surgeon, dave clarke, truncate, dustin zahn.

this twentieth 3024 release is by my friend trevino. i am particularly proud to put this out because it was trevino (aka marcus intalex), who signed my very first tracks and gave me my break back in 2005 (a 12 inch called get down on his label revolve:r). in the last two years he has started taking his techno more seriously, writing new tracks at a very fast pace. i am glad people are taking notice of his music cos he is the real deal and it was tough picking tracks for this release cos he is making so many! ultimately we chose four that would clearly showcase marcus different sides and styles. so, seven years after my >get down<, i am proudly presenting the mighty trevino with his >tactical manoeuvre ep<.

mob tactics do the job once again with the third release on tactical records. this release features >fugazi< and >roadhouse< which have both been getting some serious attention. the a and b side are a breath of fresh air and we look forward to the fourth release.

“i musik” is the third piece from kyo, a duet of hannes norrvide and frederik valentin. with each release the pair make a shift in the project’s aesthetic equilibrium, forcing a new constellation of resonances, handing us a new beauty. “i musik” presents another wondrous movement in the narrative, like discovering a secret escalator that passes everything you want from a new angle.

with fractal s analogue assassin ep, dubliner dave hayden (alias roguefrequency) delivers four acid/techno bangers openly displaying industrial influences. jerked off sturdy analog gear, the solid 808, 909, 4/4 rythmics is skirmished by cavelike 303 acidic patterns. rearguard consists of sunless modular synths and gritty atmospheric drones. as a certificate of choice, the release has already been supported by dj s such as unwelt, errorbeauty & and. like always on kromatones, it s limited to 300 copies pressed on 140gr. 12- vinyls coming coloured, this time with transparent blue. so, obivously we got here some rather stealth yet smashing tactical cruise sonic machine!

skeleton recordings are proud to announce the release of the skeleton xxv project to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the label which originally launched in 1992. this is a five part collectors edition to celebrate 25 years of skeleton recordings. volumes 01 to 04 sleeve artwork when put together will form a big piece of artwork of the revamped original skeleton recordings logo that will look good on any wall. volume 05 will be a picture disc. the full digital album will only become available once all five volumes have been released. the project has taken just over 12 months to put together and is definitely something for the collectors. it has been generating quite a buzz within the underground circuit the closer it gets to release date and has been getting some really good support from the likes of bailey, storm and ray keith to name a few.

“muen” is based on the concepts of “muen”, “kugai” and “raku” all referring to tactical “freedoms” or “liberties” within the structures of medieval japan. a reflection on concepts that have been lost since the seventeenth century, according to historian yoshihiko amino. while “muen” echoes of the seminal early 90s merzbow, playing on the relationship between metal noise and instrumental oscillations, it differs in interaction between the two. where the pure noise used to dominate, the instrumentation has taken over, making the whole soundscape oscillate and vibrate. each side is one long piece unfolding, an ocean of tones and frequencies, a catharsis of sound, dynamics and power. “muen” is a vitally sonic experience from a true master and innovator of electronic music for followers both new and old. “muen” is limited to 375 copies

for the first release on terminal operations the two label founders kuno and spaceinvasion from berlin, the mighty fallbeil from hamburg and mysterious neuspotter ns465 team up for this wicked four tracker. the a-side starts with one nasty uk-influenced techno banger by kuno which is followed by spaceinvasion s pure raw acid onslaught. on the flip side fallbeil deliver another distorted acid bomb with brutal vocals and neuspotter ns465 finishs off with some synth-driven madness.

in most tactical manoeuvres, there is an obvious greater goal which people want to achieve. delusive manoeuvres are different. what you perceive is what they want you the perceive. what you think is their goal, might be a delusion and mislead you into that unreal direction they want you. they are in control.

new yorker elliot taub graces this 8th kinfolk release with 3 trax of varying intesity. do that dance is an uptempo melodic bass and synth heavy dancefloor jam. thirteenth roll in a bakers dozen takes a slower spaced out route. 10 dollars conitnues in the same mode but this time with guitar and a super heavy synth line pushing the driving force along and finally soft rocks grab a hold of 10 dollars and turn it into a john carpenter-esque electro groover.
