skatebard & lauer team up for a collaborative 12 on uttu, the two good friends have created some lush house music that draws it’s inspiration from residential crab invasions from skatebards youth. igor tipura returns to the label on remix duties (returning lauers incredible remix from his 2016 bomb dwams). legendary norwegian producer & artist bjorn torske supplies the artwork - rounding off one of uttu’s most aspirational releases of recent times.

finally a new sampler on siena! this time on 3.0 a broad range of sounds from funk to techno. the a-side starts with a smooth summer jam by griffy hildalgo. perfect to start a roadtrip! tetelepta & gerressen teamed up to fill out the a2 with their raw sampling house joint. for the techno heads among us, yes, the b sides delivered it. b1 start with bas amro with his emotional melodies and deep grooves. the closing track for this ep is by ben buitendijk, who delivered a true masterpiece for detroit techno lovers - don’t miss it!

tom dicicco is best known for his stern techno output, so its intriguing to seem him donning a new alias, veyg, and exploring a new sound palette. as with the last veyg 12inch, the tone here is somewhere around the slower tempo, discoid acid end of the spectrum, and hes made the sound his own. my sweet soul is a dusty affair with squashed drums and looped up bongos rubbing up against trippy globules of lysergic monosynth action. when they fall- is a downcast electro track for rainy sundays, while these feelings waits for the clouds to break and dances on the damp lawn with no shoes on. west of the sun is the most adventurous offering on the 12inch, escaping the 4/4 thud and twirling in an off-grid stylee with ample dub fx tugging the melodic parts around in a mellifluous haze of experimentation.

ipanema, the neighborhood where bossa nova was born, is known as one of the most famous beaches in rio de janeiro, the host city of the 2016 olympic games. it s streets are aligned as a grid, the same way we do in electronic music. on sundays, the roadway closest to the beach is closed to the motor vehicles, allowing the tanned bodies ridin through it and inspiring this track. additional remix from german duo piemont completes the release.
