nice price deal !!! after the success from his first two releases which both made the top 100 singles on boomkat, aramac now returns with a new ep. the lost files is the first release from aramac in over a year. the ep is a set of tracks that have been floating with a handful of djs such as wifey, ldn and brackles. the ep contains 3 tracks.

dubious prey is the 1st release of 2012 on sticks n stones recordings and the 2nd release from the nyc-via-sierra leone dj/producer lamin fofana. lamin is an electronic musician that produces music without category out of found sounds, human voices, digital synthesisers, analogue synthesisers and drum machines. his work can be found on such labels as dutty artz, grizzly and diskotopia the vinyl version of the e.p, contains 2 original tracks and a remix of the lead single by aramac. the e.p has been review on xlr8r and currently been supported by wmfu fm (new york), wifey (déjà vu), matt shadetek, contact and a bunch of other.

esgs iconic >dance< is available as a 7 inch single along with the foot stomping >tiny sticks<. featuring on the current xbox kinect advert, dance is the epitome of esgs beat building funk. a funky bass line and clappy drums ensure those feet keep moving. >tiny sticks<, similar in beat and get-moving-attitude, is from the same 1983 lp >come away with esg<.

kurbits 004 marks the return of dan andrei who brings the romanian dirt with two dusty, percussive techno tools. first out on the label side is ramble on, an old school house rhythm. driven by a shaker in a jacking groove and topped off with a rambling vocal about nothing at all, because after all these vocals about >house music<, whats left to say? just put the track on and get the groove on! four sticks on the info side is a straight up techno banger built on a rolling house groove. no funny business, just a sublime percussion workout with little but essential hints of melody to let you catch your breath, then straight back to the groove! we sincerely hope youll have as much pleasure with these tracks as we are. well be back soon with new and exciting rhythms. happy mixing!

mock & toof proudly present the fantastic >farewell to wendo<, the first single from their debut album >tuning echoes< which is scheduled for release in may 2010. for those unaware, mock & toof are two of the uks finest. having built up an enviable reputation via 12 inch releases on james murphys dfa recordings and their own tiny sticks imprint, they specialize in brilliantly off-kilter, disco-fuelled grooves that are laced with originality. enough originality in fact to have caught the attention of hot chip, zero 7, holy ghost! and groove armada who all recently called for their remix services, and thats just the tip of their production iceberg.

wonderful 1970s p.c.p inspired 20 track. compilation featuring a highly charged mix of psych funk, prog, afro, glam, cosmic, rock and disco. some very rare pieces on here such as the cosmic reggae inspired 360 degrees, the groovy psych prog of the creative craniums and the raw prototype psych funk of kid rock (not that one). others will be better known to lovers of a more progressive dancefloor such as soundforce and diabolic man which has long been a big spin for dj harvey and lovefingers alike.

style of eye aka linus eklöw always saves his best work for tiny sticks. previous releases have come on the legendary classic recordings, mouthful, doubledown records, sugarcane and eye industries. following the success of his bigger sounding releases, hes back with a more stripped down, underground selection. rockett evolves around a very funky groove, a track with a lot of swing, it has all the hallmarks of a massive tune. sounding similar to john dahlback s huggotron style, a huge distorted electro riff takes over and drives it higher and higher. rockett comes with a dub version too. l.d.r. starts off with a bit more subtlety than rockett. starting with a lovely bouncy shuffling groove and expanding spacey keys and then getting more and more pumping as it goes on with giant drum rolls and shouty vox. another big one for the underground heads
