the original soundtrack of an unreleased movie became the soundtrack of a comic book. 14 tracks produced by krazy baldhead, mr flash, busy p, feadz and the mysterious 40106 (aka mickey moonlight). influenced by john carpenter, wendy carlos and vladimir cosma, the ed banger records artists imagined the perfect soundtrack of a >la ed wood<movie. nostalgia and sound anticipation, vandroid should be listen reading a comic or the head in the skys. a concept album which allows the artists of the label the least exposed to prove their talent.

the album was unanimously praised and confirmed krazy as a special planet in the ed rec galaxy. depending on his mood, his music can be somber and melancholy or experimental, and with no warning slide into a warm almost poppy funk. his comps can be either built on a classical or jazz base, with funky synths and organic electro sounds, mostly with powerful bass lines inspired by british bass-music. for his second album the noise in the sky, krazy baldhead delved into his 70s influences: while on tour for the b-suite, he traveled by day listening to 70s.

5 years ago back in february 2003 in montmartre (paris, france) pedro winter aka busy p created the ed banger record label. most of the artists have been discovered by pedro, and often live near the labels office. over the past 2 years the rise of the label has been something like a phenomenon, with all artists being on a worldwide tour (dj and/or live) at sold out venues, each appearance always long awaited and celebrated like a the coming of the messiah by thousands of raging kids from each and every part of the world. drawing on the street energy of hip hop, rocks explosion and hypnotic compression of techno music, but remaining open to all other influences, the sound of the label, mostly electronic and saturated, has become a trademark, registered worldwide. justice, busy p, uffie, feadz, mehdi, dsl, oizo, vicarious bliss, mr flash, krazy baldhead, sebastian and so: mes post cartoon imaging are practically pop culture icons, especially within the new web media (myspace, blogs, forums) where ed banger remain one of the unbeatable masters of its use. this third volume of the labels own compilation features 12 new tracks and mixes.
