subservient ist das 4. album von larry gus für die new yorker talentschmiede dfa. der aus griechenland stammende panagiotis melidis (so der bürgerlicher name) präsentiert auf dem neuen werk ein crisis funk pop mit traditionellem, mediterranem groove. nicht nur politisch ist das leben des griechen aktuell eine herausforderung auch die probleme des vatersein prägen die songs des neuen albums.

glenn underground is one of the most respected deep house producers from the windy city. his releases on seminal labels like cajual, prescription and guidance set him apart as the outstanding talent from the chicago underground of his era. gu s 70 s trip is one of the most sought after releases on cajual records (1997), showcasing his ability to fuse disco and four to floor in an inimitable style.

as per usual, jwb presents an ep of high quality. this time with the helping hand of t. ruggieri. one can appreciate the grand scale of sounds inside a very deep atmosphere. two great remixes as pablo inzunza (little helpers / highgrade) and gus & bonso (wrong state) tops such a fantastic release.
