l kubic is the berlin based producer lars niekisch. already in the 90s he was playing keyboards and writing songs in various bands. he also did his first producingsteps working as a programmer and co-producer at a music studio. later he and his good friend alec trick founded their project trick & kubic. on his journeys around the globe, inspired by all the impressions, he collected lots of musical ideas. based on these fragments l kubics first solotracks were produced back home in the studio. his first solo project was signed to buzzinfly, berlin label blackfoxmusic followed straight away ...

for this 10th wph release we looked towards belgiums finest raoul lambert aka raoul belmans aka one half of swirl people to follow up on his splendid wph blue b-side track 3 seconds released late 2009. raoul quickly sent us cinnamon dreams, the result of a long valencia-session with friend and fellow producer nacho marco, during which they apparently ate the whole spanish supply of belgian speculoospasta, a specialty that cannot be translated in english, but it contains cinnamon, hence the name of the track and the ep

finally label owner maurice aymard releases his debut ep in his own label. after releasing last year in einmusik label and sasses mood music imprint, moe how his friends call him has decided to show his art through galaktika. the ep has two strong remixes the first one comes from the brazilian s head quarters and old friend from the house called gui boratto. gui is a top five world techno producer, after remixing names like moby, massive attack and robin williams he finds times in his super busy schedule and delivers a massive tune. he changes the hole track, he stamps his sound on the remix and add and incredible rhodes to close up the track, and epic remix that will last for ever. garnica does completely the opposite as gui, he turns put some for jules in a techno tune for pick time hours, with groove and percussions as main course. garnica has find his formula to make great remixes and keep your head up cause will be more to come.
