momentform is the musical project of ianis lallemand, a multitalented artist from paris. after three cassettes and two twelve inches, momentform has landed on the electronic emergencies platform. -lapse- is a four track 12 inch that is best described as a dark and melodic piece of neo synth wave. the sound is unmistakably analogue. the atmosphere is emotionally charged, haunting and dreamy.

keith tuckers optic nerve persona returns with the timelapse ep. side a1 minimal detroit mix is a dark minimal mood beat pumped excursion into techno floor stumper. a2 time displacement mix is a completely different take with alternative beats creating a sort of shift in time. the tracks show tuckers growth and influence on electro and techno with his work in aux 88. side two one moment in time is a detroit sort of metroplex gem. tucker once again shows his melodic melodies and baselines that shows his love for detroit music and grooves. a highly thought out sequence of great sounds and string chords as only optic nerve does it. tucker has hinted many times that he has a lot of unreleased music from his metroplex days! b2. transient force records label owner as1 gives us a true electro mix which keeps alot of the original mix of one moment in time. the tone is a more electro clash techno mesh of urban beat programming for the electro heads.

sa010 presents three uncompromising visions from xhin, go hiyama and donor. a1 is xhins aggressive return to wax on sa. >hepta< is a gnarling, snarling tale that erupts into acrid broken beat. this track comes from xhin s new studio sessions, and it anticipates the coming of his most ambitious project yet. b1, >tasu<, comes from a new addition to the sa fold, go hiyama. >tasu< is hard, industrial and dub-filled in precisely the right quantities. >tasu< is perfectly swung peak-time techno and a foretaste of the monad chapter that go hiyama is currently crafting. donors flipside, >lapse<, shares the deep atmosphere that permeated his monad ii and sampler series releases. while hi hats sneak into the foreground and the background is punctuated by murmuring vocals, lapse gathers velocity around the weight of its bassline.
