all god s children is pure deephouse with driving percussion, a classic house groove, lush keyboard work and a bassline that brings you through the night. the bside sports two versions of the track anything is possible. the maison vumbi edit by xaver hinself is very faithful to the original version, which is a disco tainted take on early chicago house, and simply streamlines the track for ideal dancefloor compatibility. the filiberto marmelade remix on the other hand turns the track into a psychedelic piano-house jam with a highly addictive additional hook, a real summer tune..

electric minds present gatto fritto for their 3rd release. a talented musician and producer from north london, he has been steadily building a reputation through his releases on london based dissident. extending his repertoire further he brings another quality production to electric minds. the a side bursting the bubble is a nine minute jam with quirky sync samples, heavy bass and a change in direction half way through the track which is becoming a trade mark of gatto frittos productions. the b side radio b-92 did not make its place on the first electric minds release as planned, so they were delighted to have been able to include it here. it is a sync rich track taking inspiration from new yorks 80s electro scene, a perfect compliment to what is already a very strong 12inch release. house heads as well as the cosmic fans will appreciate both productions

second set of remixes for this genre straddling track, featuring the vocal talents of soul sensation in waiting, ben westbeech. marrying the kraakers future funk and hip hop beats with a sensational perfomance from the young bristolian made this track a sure bet as the first choice single although the band did release a couple of warm up eps to remind everyone why their debut album boogie angst was a worldwide success. here trevor loveys, mainstay of the dubsided label, originator of the fidget house sound alongside switch, sinden and jesse rose and partner of herve in the huge selling speakerjunk project, turns in a hot vocal remix that pumps the track towards a different dancefloor altogether. he also found time to serve up a tasty dub that neatly crosses the divide between bassline and techy fidget house. one for the festivals this summer no doubt!

the a side kicks off with the highly anticipated release of party all night from french producers bobby and klein, chanting we gonna party all night over an infectious groove that kicks things off proper! the a2 follows party all night with nashvilles real time hand motion hitting us with their amazing honey tune. all the trademark rthm cuts, edits, and vocal bits come together to deliver a funky analog bassline jam with a really unique dancefloor jam. on the flip, mebourne, australias d t3ch turns in the gorgeously funky meerkat music, a tune thats been killing danceloors and a vocal that puts a smile on everybodys face. not to be missed! and last but not least, label bosses the sound republic deliver a tongue in cheek tribute to jason hodges with a chopped up tracky jam that jacks through rolling pianos, xylophopne backed with a bass bit that is humanly impossible not to dance to. all in all, the 4 piece set ep is kicking off the new year in style!

a classic bit of space disco from the french scene of the 70s. four long tracks that are all pretty darn moogy, and pretty darn great! the work here would fit nicely with some of the best keyboard heavy club of the us scene at the time! not exactly like some of the work on p&p, or the grooves of el coco over at avi - but not that dissimilar either, and often put together with a spare, simple approach thats a welcome contrast from overblown disco of the time! most numbers build up from a funky bassline and beats - adding in the keyboards with great relish, and really letting them jam and get crazy over the top. theres certainly a bit of cosmic fusion going on here too
