after their first hello on the 6 years hive compilation adriatique is back on hive audio with a full ep. the swiss- based duo recently released some remarkable pieces of music in the last months with amzing feedbacks and chart-postitions. the aint nobody ep shows a few typical adriatique sounds but has a darker touch. the original a-side is filled with some old school housebeats paired with heavy synth work, deep vocals & a rolling bassline which makes this track work for every time of the night or morning. atapys remix of aint nobody goes into the same direction but delivers his very own interpretation. he put on the atapy stamp through his characteristic synthmelodies. then we have another original track from adriatique. mind games is a heavy dance floor track with lots of content. pretty much electronic with melodies and spoken vocals which really put mind games on the map. overall all tracks are made for the club and will achieve their goal. dancing not only with the body but also with the soul.

i am a pianist, composer, improviser, performing artist and a multitasking musician in life, currently living and working in reykjavik. i was born 1978 in seydisfjördur, iceland and have been playing the piano and keyboards since age of 9. my main focus and interest is in improvisation, composition and performance of music. how improvisation and composition can meet effortlessly as a creation of musical ideas and sounds. i am also thoughtful of the general passion & drive behind creation of things, in what way they are presented and passed on to people, in music, arts and life in general. since childhood i ve collaborated with a whole spectrum of artist, from obscure troubadours in the countryside to stadium bands, covering all fields og music, both in iceland and abroad. i have also composed and arranged a great deal of music for theater, film, art installations, performances and videos of all kinds. released my first album rask in 2002, and now i am currently composing and working on a series of records with solo piano music for radio bongo with improvised piano works i (broadcast01) as the first radio bongo release.

after his last single asset 001 and releasing his distance track on dogmatik records, stojche returns with the second release on his own solo tangible assets imprint delivering another four cuts, whereby we witness his consistency in putting out a must-have quality works. the 1st track on the a side is called you & me. podium techno tune where the 909 drums and the fat baseline interact perfectly with musical theme. stojche starts off with the pad lines, building them up with various chords, synth swabs and dubby layers that strike in perfect timing. this one is real immersive moody groover. a2 -mechanism has an electric piano aspect as key texture that jams along the track, and later the amazing string arrangement creates a lot of space for the drum sequence to bring the mood to another level. this tune could do a lot of damage on the dancefloor if dropped in a right time. b1- revolt kicks off with a storming groove right from the start. uncompromising drums with the acidic synth keys that rumble in 4 on the floor beat that showcase chicago house influences from the past. b2 - podrum is the closing track of this single that carries a real strong emotion and deepness. classic detroit influenced after hour tune approached in style. the warmth stretches across the entire soundscape, where we witness stojches skills to create an essential spiritual deep house number. definitely stojche has succeeded in delivering four different quality works to one beauty of a record!!! asset002 will be available only in tangible (physical) format

for some time now the bar25 label has wanted to put out a release with all of our swiss musician friends � the many folks who came to the swiss weekends at the bar and generally made a habit of visiting us in berlin. the bar always had a deep swiss connection, manifested not least in the legendary swiss cabin, home away from home to larger groups of visiting friends and monday evening after-hour hotspot. alpenglühen � feines aus der schweiz (alp glow � swiss bliss) is a swanky double vinyl of high-quality production art made in switzerland. on vinyl 1, animal trainer from hive audio share a side with andri, the zurich native. techno gladiator wandler and live artist canson play the other side, while vinyl 2 lets two matadors from the new zurich club friedas büxe � don ramon and san marco � steer for a while. and the two music geniuses from galoppierende zuversicht are also here, fittingly, using sounds recorded live at friedas büxe for their track. the sampler concludes with the exceptionally talented mastra, who contributed a special song to this swiss musical collage. the digital release also comes with a bonus live track by sublime stage band rizzoknor. even the cover was designed in switzerland, during a bar25 night at the legendary cabaret in zurich. were all excited about this release since its a special one for the 25 label. marked both by good old times and new horizons, this record is a musical compilation representing the very special kind of artist that will always be welcome in wild berlin!

for a short period in 1981 and with brand-new equipment such as roland 808, sh 101, gr 500, we made some 8-track just for fun jam tapes. mainly just to experiment for our own pleasure. from those sessions, only white horse made it to a final treatment. the rest of the material was left behind, as our record company at the time found it too different. after white horse being a track indeed defining our sound, we thought it would be interesting to dig out left-overs to fulfill a documentation of that period - crucial for us at the time. we were still innocent newcomers, without actually knowing to be creating a new sound! recently, that left-over material was transferred from analogue to digital and, to stay as true as possible to original intentions, we only added vocals, bass and drumbeats ahead of a final mix. we hope that you will enjoy listening to it. good vibes from laid back copenhagen 2012.
