best known under his legowelt alias, wolfers has spent the last two decades flitting between strobe light acid house, 808 electro, fluorescent techno and shimmering space disco. throughout, he has kept his productions pleasingly analogue-heavy, making great use of classic drum machines and vintage synthesizers. while his music may be steeped in the past, wolfers productions always sound like the future.

at the end of 2013, boston bun released his second ep, *flasher*, on ed banger. the three tracks were hypnotic and tailored for clubs. they were played on the radio (bbc1, le mouv, france inter) and also by the best djs on the electro scene (2manydjs, skream, duke dumont, erol alkan, surkin, boys noize, daniel avery…). boston buns new ep, *we got soul*, is a great step. vocals are more important than ever, it is club music with soul! *we got soul* features bear who? taken from a mysterious acetate cut by derrick may in 1987 this release was originally penned for kms offshoot pheerce citi. both these sides were later released - the darkside = as a relic (by longer than long ago) and tic tic tic was later released on the limited edition compilation as music institute 20th anniversary as untitled. both tracks are however, very hard to get on vinyl and have now been re issued as loud 45rpm pressings in pheerce citi artwork and remastered for 2014. great techno obscurity!

when chateau flight was approached to participate to this live project of covers of terry riley, together with le cabaret contemporain, they immediatly said yes. it was the occasion to play great music from a majeur influence of them, and also to play it live with some great musicians. the live experience went so great that they decided to go in the mythical vogue studio (around paris), to record it. the idea was to have a full live take, no edits, to capture the magic of the improvisation. cabaret contemporain is 2 prepared double basses, 1 drummer, 1 guitar player, 1 prepared piano. chateau flight(i:cube and gilb-r) providing the electronics sounds and the mixdown here is the result.
