to support his just released alien artform album, delsin puts out the 2nd dimension 5 12. this 3 tracker continues where the lp version left us: 3 brand new tracks (only network was released on cd only). this one comes for the dancefloor. it opens with dark city, an haunting, melodic 4-floor techno track with those old skool drum sounds. dope! the b-side holds 2 tracks in the same vein, where music box film-esque, like derrick may used to do, and gradually builds up. network is a more soulful tracks, playing around with some nice synths and reminds of old insync / irdial stuff.

footandmouths second release, and what a hot little number it is. a familiar piano anthem gets not simply re-edited but gets a full reinterpretation replayed and re-envisioned with a contemporary feel. the a side features a full 12 minute momentous version, full of pathos and emotion, where the melody and keys are reworked over an insistent, hissing house groove. the flip features two shorter versions, a tougher punchier edit and a superb piano-pella. an amazing rework, that is sure to be one of the tunes of this summer. tune of the issue in the july edition of mixmag and being championed by anyone that can get their hands on a copy, expect to hear this everywhere!

when listening to scsi-9 its quite unavoidable the mind turning apart from the body and flying, fantasizing about unexplored roads and boundaries. once again, anton and maxim are providing a trip within their personal globe, travelling in the terra del fuoco (tierra del fuego), in the southest city of te world, ushuaia. tom turns the wave in an heavy deep stone, surely to become a classic to be hold in the most fond of the genre library. the voice is shaped in the loop and becomes like paraffin, the chords completing the whole, transforming an electronic piece into a classic dance floor track. the second track, chasing shadows, following the first one basic line, fill up the b side with the yapacc remix, not disappointing the expectations and concluding the ep in a classy way, giving voice to monsters and fairies, flowing into or days groove.

>testify< is the second single taken from boohgaloo zoos stunning self-titled debut album. u-gene goes all out on the vocals while the bassline and synth stabs are clearly in the business of tearing roofs off suckers. heavy 21st century funk! the remixes make sure that those who like to shake their behinds to something more up-tempo get with the program as well - soulphiction goes to work on the track not once but twice in a full-on boogie mix and one that is more on the minimal side, while hot chips joe goddard takes it to very late night club territories.

faithful re-issue of this obscure canadian disco gem from 1978! tough disco sh*t that really moves the floor! a firm favourite of dj harvey back in the day it now trades hands for over $100 if you can find it. it was also edited by dj rahaan on jiscomusic a few years ago but here we have the original version, re-mastered and sounding better than ever. comes with original artwork. one sided just like the original 12 inch release.
