2002 classic by yann fontaine (ovum. low pressings) with a deep, deep rerub from west caost favourite lance desardi (seasons). in a very metro area vibe, lance takes the dubby tech original into a smoked out trip of new wave keys and mininimal drums, that morgan geist would sweat on. the flip heads into rob paine world, with a low rumbling bassline and rasta fills. a litle more reserved than yanns normal tech housers, this is a cool track that could easily be on bluem or environ.

sex tags mania with more leftfield dance music... the label just does what they feel and that goes from crazy nordic afro funk (see recent sex tags amfibia release) to intens house tracks, uptempo techno or just raw low-key tracks like this one. they have at least one major fan called omar s who loves the label!

egbert van der gugten gehört derzeit zu den vielversprechendsten holländischen talenten im feld der elektronischen tanzmusik. jeroen verheji alias secret cinema, der auf egbert via myspace.com aufmerksam geworden war, lud ihn im vergangenen jahr kurz entschlossen zu seiner party-reihe und in sein studio ein und ebnete damit egberts weg in die holländische techno-szene. nach dem maxi-debüt auf lo-fi stereo war es dann vor allem seine vlammen-ep auf michel de heys ec records aus dem februar 2009, die auf den tanzflächen wie eine bombe einschlug und fest zu sven väths platteninventar in dieser season gehörte. mit >vreugdevuur< setzt egbert da noch eins oben drauf mit einem maßstab setzenden ausrufezeichen in sachen harmonischem und doch konsequent forderndem techhouse zwischen dub, progressive house und detroit. der subsonische bass rund um das zentrale orgelmotiv wird euch in diesem spätherbst zwischen tanzen und träumen ein treuer wegbegleiter sein, versprochen! einen anderen klanglichen ansatz verfolgt indes die flipside >groots uitpakken< mit seinem ungemein energiegeladenen soundgewitter, ein nächtlicher trip durch zeitlupen-vokalfetzen, dem stringbreaks eine unwiderstehliche hypnotische sogwirkung verpassen
