Jacksonville (Leeds U.K) releases his first original track for Thug Records. The release also coincides with the launch of our vinyl arm and marks a new direction and ethos for Thug Records. After being heavily inspired by a 4 month trip to Berlin in late 2009 and by a number of fantastic labels and artists in the U.S.A, we have decided to make shift back to a more organic platform. To quote Levon Vincent, the medium is the message. Now for the tracks, Dusk is a deep, bumping techno gem that grinds and pulsates with smatterings of acid, drum hooks and creepy vocal stabs. On the remix front, one of our all time favourite producers, Abe Duque (NYC), does what he does best and turns out an incredibly twisted dance floor beast. Both tracks here bring the noise.
