the b.t.s are a detroit deep house live act crew. this is there first release in the world. the ex-member of underground resistance, derwin hall bang the dam walls down with this groove. this remake track with the late ron banks vox sample >treat me like man< is a detroit killer! derwin had some extra production on the drums by delano smith. this track is so hot, me (eddie fowlkes) and my momma had to get this for the cityboy music. what a great track for their first release.the black exterrestrials come back with >the journey< on the flip side. this deep minimal soul house groove has that element of a underground banger with euro flavor - with lead vocal by angie sexy ass!
immaculate expansive night music. written and recorded between hungry ghosts studios in west london and a remote kent shed the attention to gear on both tracks is really rather special. the view is from above, the lights... are they on? there is life underground: these shall not last long.
what an absolute stormer, for those of you who have never heard this record, get ready to be blown away. initially out in 1992 inner citys pennies from heaven was just the most perfect house anthem, i think it was kevins tunnel mix which was the killer mix, here it has been strung out just a little by the slow to speak people. all the crucial elements are still there, amazing vocal, the most uplifting of pianos, ridiculously simple yet deadly bassline and fantastic crisp garage beats. really they dont get much better than this, watch em go on nye when you drop this. awesome!
night slugs announce the latest installment in their white label series - the much-anticipated debut 12 inch of london producer jam city. on the a side, the psychedelic grime interplorer ecstasy refix glows with warmth at its analog core. a jubilant tribute to the art of the grime refix, the track simultaneously recalls two disparate by-gone eras, to devastating effect. on the b side, night slugs favourite >let me bang refix< drowns a gutter house classic in sheer beams of searing fluorescent synth. jam city borrows a vintage wiley meme on closing track >shut the lights off (devil mix)<, all but void of a drum kit it hangs in suspension, awash in sublime synths. this ep is available only on limited vinyl.
from californias underground scenes and dicey juke joints, to big stages and international tours, angel city outcasts have come to be known as a unique and imaginative entity that continues to win over fans from allover the world. kicking ass and taking names while shrouded in myth and lore, angel city outcasts is the clint eastwood of rock bands!
to support his just released alien artform album, delsin puts out the 2nd dimension 5 12. this 3 tracker continues where the lp version left us: 3 brand new tracks (only network was released on cd only). this one comes for the dancefloor. it opens with dark city, an haunting, melodic 4-floor techno track with those old skool drum sounds. dope! the b-side holds 2 tracks in the same vein, where music box film-esque, like derrick may used to do, and gradually builds up. network is a more soulful tracks, playing around with some nice synths and reminds of old insync / irdial stuff.
after his last storming ep on figure spc, young italian talent roberto bosco comes to figure with a new four track masterclass in rumbling, earth-shaking and proudly contemporary techno. berlin music city features the mysterious vocals of coppa, who leads us into the break of this heavyweight track with his deep dub-step flavoured drawl. funky, ecstatic and characterised by bosco s raw and crisp sound.more bass pressure awaits with sci-fi . a tough, sub-diven punch greets us from the outset, allowing a freaky array of static fx, tripping synths and meandering chimes to lead us on through a strange, imaginary city. suitably tough, crunching and close to the bone, no time combines bosco s clear love of tectonic beats with uplifting, dj-friendly arrangements. a devilish hook emerges from the smoke and steam, leading to a dramatic conclusionà. finally the industrial clatter of >after berlin< stirs up a rich dub-techno display in this surging, lively and essential addition to the package!
dj deep with his 3rd city to city selection !! top notch tracks from deep house to chicago !!
ps : tracklist on the cover backside is wrong, our tracklist with soundfiles are correct.
theres quite a bit of talent scouting on this lil lovely compilation. keeping the deep edge, all 4 artists provide dope tunes for your summer nights (and days). up and coming uk producer nick lawson delivers some deep dirty and heavy beats stuff, just right for all the mcde lovers out there. if youre into smooth deep house with still enough drive to be played out then watch the space for the excellent sai from japan. on the flipside there iron curtis (with partner leaves), who has made a strong impression since his debut release on morris audio citysport (49). result: great releases on mule musique, hudd trax, and boe. and yes, a full new 12- on citysport is due soon! finishing off this compilation is mahone from berlin with a groovy tool that can be used...well.....-all night long-!
from our producer no.2 album we have selected dbridges slo-mo dnb production >zx81< for two very special treatments from shed & ramadanman.
both tracks have been favoured and played by martyn, scuba, peverlist, james blake, actress & instra:mental.

with juno records hitting its tenth release we revisit yet another classic from the archives of electronic music royalty. producer, label boss, dj & remixer extraordinaire, charles webster will need no introduction to house music lovers, and its his 1998 collaboration with renowned uk vocalist shara nelson which gets a 2010 touch up. orignally out on the seminal label pagan, >sense of danger< was a true deep house anthem back then and stuttgarts most famous son, motor city drum ensemble steps up with two contrasting but equally excellent remixes. the >other thing dub< revisits the raw cuts sound that mcde is famous for - nelsons vocal expertly chopped up over organic piano grooves and a chugging beat. the second vocal mix stays truer to the tough beats and metallic synths of websters original, a real chicago feel provided by the ebullient hats and dubby bass line.
limited white label copy. two offical marlow remixes now available on limited 12 inch vinyl. firstly, the official dubstep remix of owl citys massive chart-topping hit fireflies. on the flip, a remix of skints new signing byob. dont miss out on this ? is pretty good. dj support ? rob da bank, kissy sell-out, the others, and a few more that i cant remember.
big with dubfire, richie hawtin, sven väth, luciano, stephan bodzin, loco dice, karotte, adam beyer, mandy! after d-edge in sao paulo and rex in paris, oliver huntemann selected cielo club in new york to record his third compilation from the play! series. cielo is like no other. tucked cosily in the ultra-hip meat packing district and having won numerous awards for best club in new york, it seemed the perfect pick for this special project the ep, introducing the compilation, consists of two tracks which oliver huntemann produced specially for the big apple. nyc (keep on playin) summarizes perfectly the mood of the city that never sleeps. groovy, somewha melancholic but always ready for more.

funky oldschool electro minialbum by dj overdose and homies. the follow up on their try to be a novamen ep on murdercapital records. tip!! a 2010 repress with the standard new bunker label and hand stamped on the back!
tiefenschoen as an lp is a complete whirlwind having a raw and dirty feel to it, albeit without losing focus on the original and well-known jean f. cochois sound. this is an extremely strong club album with a powerful recognition value – not only musically, but also visually thanks to its album cover. it stands out as it has an overall concept and, throughout it, a sense of continuity from beginning to end.
vol.2 with remixes from robag wruhme, reboot, martinez !! hailing from berlin norman weber and marco resmann released an album in autumn 2009 that can be easily called a success. this is why there were no problems at all to find an illustrious circle of remixers. jena-based robag wruhme already contributed one remix to matthias tanzmanns >bulldozer< in 2006. the old partnership was now revived and robag wruhme was asked for a reinterpretation of another moon harbour track. his version of >mr. jack< captivates you with its mix of funk and darkness and has an overwhelming effect on the dance floor

DUSTY DANCE (GREGOR TRESHER, JEFF SAMUEL, LUNA CITY EXPRESS RMXS)
12 Inch 06.04.10
like his taste of music marcel knopf is stylistically diversified when it comes to the selection of remixers for his debut album. gregor tresher, luna city express and jeff samuel are definitely away on different fields.
the loop:
this nice, funky, underground and late night beat eddie put down represents his origins of funky detroit house fillers … also, columbia style vox sample is a killer on the floor for the best djs with skills ...
let my nuts hang:
eddie fowlkes should change his last name to funky … the whole track is letting his nuts hang for 24 years of putting out release! the groove is out cold, plus what eddie is saying in the track is really true!
tiga continues his series of remix 12 s for songs from his 2009 album ciao! the ambitious project features some of the most respected and sought-after producers in dance music!

12 Inch 31.03.10
clark and gold panda remixes for >get color< album by experimental indie-rockers health. health are set to release a 500 piece limited white label 12 inch
esperanza strikes back and does it deep! on this release we have rosarios icon franco cinelli. establishing himself more and more as one of the most respected artists in argentina, francos response to the praising is nothing but better music every second. on the a side cinelli brings us >the sound of the city<, a trippy dubby affair with a perfect balance between modern sounds and oldschool drums. while on the flip, >joint non stop< honours its title with its super driving bass and groovy almost tribalish beat programming but still keeping the dubby flavour of the a-side. enjoy your martini and, of course, another classy affair from mr cinelli
