its still like that: even though digital is everywhere there is still something very special about having your own tracks on a vinyl release. so this is it again: the very best of the last releases on koletzki_s sublabel stil vor talent digital on a double-sided vinyl edition. starting off with two tracks by bruch & junior that couldnt be more different: while >fiesta de la residencia< sounds like somebody threw some spanish vocals and trumpets into a pool of tech-house beats and basslines at a maniac afterhour on the white island (ergo: great),>sunset< is the deeply euphoric sound for the morning after. the synthesizers so crisp and all around you, the beat and bassline so warm and seductive: this is purely magical music that will make you forget when the sun went down or up the last time while still making you want to shake your legs to the strong bassline and chunky loop. hit! on the flip then comes a re-work of a massive hit on stil vor talent: a 2010 version of nicones >una rosa< complete with the original spanish vocals, but a much more grooving loop that turns into an absolute percussion fest. claps turn into effects and we all raise our hands to those reverbed original vocals. last up australian murat kilic with the wonderfully oldskool house anthem >summer traffic<: great melodic pads, a superbly harmonic bassline and when the breakdown kicks in, an ever-indulging xylophon melody. this whole record has got summer written all over it and helps us all get through this icy winter.

formed in the early 70s, the sounds of liberation was a group of philadelphia musicians. the sounds of liberation mixed jazz, funk, free jazz and spiritual jazz into a harmonious celebration of sound. with their infectious music they even found themselves playing long side kool and the gang at the 6th annual miss black america pageant. an incredibly rare record reissued for the first time on cd. this reissue was transferred and re-mastered from the original audio tapes and includes never before seen pictures

supported by richie hawtin, laurent garnier, afrilounge, kombinat100, funkwerkstatt, gabriel ananda!
third part of the vinyl 12″,, compilation series of selections from the mathematics label from chicago, israel and italy. includes a bubbly 80s synth-heavy banger by slava, a heavy synth composition by argaman that pays homage to wendy carlos, and a spacy house jazz fusion track by i.f.m.
as summertime comes, exprezoo records squeezes out the best of its crew for a fresh release: youll probably remember george kranzs >din daa daa< (trommeltanz)... this is just a modern reinterpretation by the exprezoo guys that comes to life through a bootleg vinyl with a very limited 100 copies.
the first mix by alexxei n nig, is a dancefloor killing reconstruction of the beatline, keeping most of the original voices. the 2nd one by decoside, takes you directly under the sunrise with a deep soulful synthline and a fine jazzy groove. the 3rd one by quike is a very well working tool keeping the central voice to introduce a pumping reprise
