gro§artiges neues signing auf compost! pitchben aus mŸnchen katapultiert den electro funk der 80er jahre ins hier und jetzt. the whispers, d-train oder zapp sind die einflŸsse des mŸnchner musikers und produzenten, der in den 90ern als teenager unter dem namen m-tech seine ersten gehversuche als dj machte. 2002 gewann er die deutschen dmc meisterschaft mit seiner gescratchten interpretation des break machine-hits street dance . mit seinem ersten album pitchslap nimmer der bayer ganz klar bezug auf seine electro funk-helden der 80er, doch geht es ihm eindeutig nicht darum, den sound der vergangenheit authentisch nachzubauen. pitchben ist ein kind der €re nach daft punk und ed banger - und das hšrt man diesen energiegeladenen tracks an. pitchslap ist kein album, das nur am computer entstanden ist. der mŸnchner hat sich neben diversen sŠngern eine blŠser-sektion ins studio geholt, und die streicher kommen ebenfalls nicht aus der konserve. und demnŠchst wird pitchben mit seiner band die bŸhnen der republik rocken.
