marc cerrone became the star of incredible live experiences in paris and elsewhere. as if, after having spent the first step of his musical career elaborating his repertoire, he’d chosen to devote the second one to make it live permanently. firstly on stage, then through younger generations: when bob sinclar samples his music or invites him to collaborate, it’s a new way for cerrone to keep his main ability alive: make crowds dance. a talent which most of his younger fans - todd terje, prins thomas, james murphy and a whole generation of cosmic disco lovers - agree to and get inspiration from. from 1976 to 2014, cerrone, whose discography makes so many others jealous, never stopped playing and keeping his beat which he considers vital. and if disco music had to be summarized to one artist, one creator, it would be him and nobody else. this exclusive double lp sounds like a tribute to his prolific discography, containing incredible remixes talented producers. a cd with all tracks is included.

shortly after his first ep on dnuos ytivil, sub-division of bristol imprint livity sound, simo cell, neo-parisian and nantes native, puts his second release out on fragil musique. on this one, the young producer asserts his bass-tainted electro influences. highly skilled and very technical dj, but above all open to bridges between genres and eras, the record feels like he conceived it for his own club usage. on the a side, two subtle twin tracks, -reading rashid- and -soko ban-. cycling melodies and hypnotic pads sketch two bass outlines, as simple as effective, that seem perfectly fit for switching from a stripped down techno track to an old jungle weapon. on the flip, hit track -meteor racer- is surprising. a rawer and more stripped down electro piece that lifts the veil a bit more on the young producers talent. those four brilliantly crafted track definitely place simo cell among the french newcomers to watch closely.

sean hernandez, a.k.a. chicago skyway presents * empty patterns* on emphasis recordings. in the past, chicago skyway has recorded for labels such as eargasmic recordings, m>o>s deep, uzuri, altered moods recordings, and machining dreams, to name a few. empty patterns is a collection of tracks named after empty, programmable user patterns founds in most modern sequencers, synthesizers, and drum machines. we can only speculate which instrument was used for these tracks. all tracks are dj tools and is geared towards djs and dance floors. lots of chicago jacking house style drum patterns and bass synth stabs, with added reverb and distortion for grit and color.

lanthan audio is back after their debut ep that featured edit-select now with their sophomore release from deepbass, scottish dj, producer and label owner of informa records. for this ep deepbass delivers one original cut, alto which has been remixed by aegis, reggy van oers and ness. uniform to the deepbass style, alto is an ethereal atmospheric track with a punchy, rolling bass, which takes you on a voyage through the cosmos. aegis, on the other hand, takes the tracks potent bassline and adds the aura of breakbeat to the elegant atmospheres. on the flip side rvo adds a hypnotic energy to the track as the elements continue to build to the crowning point letting you down nice and smooth. for the final take ness adds his own style as the punchy bass lingers he is still able to keep the mood serene and delicate. all in all a captivating way for each artist to express their own style on one ep. pressing on translucent dark blue and smokey marbled vinyl.

back in stock on 25.02.2016 , arapu has maintained a steady flow of releases over the past few years and hes one of the usual suspects in the underground scene. his elegant mixture of housy elements on a techno backbone gained him early support from his peers. successful stints on labels like memoria, crazy jack, motif and mrr led him to confidently start his own outlet. liniar debuts with a three tracker from the man himself.
broken grooves are almost always present in arapus productions and pitfall is no different. with a trippy synth that goes all the way and effected voices to go along, this track rules the night and the whole a side.
two tracks found their way on the b side and their flavour is quite different. escape is a pure deep house gem, and a clear indication of arapus soulful influence. extremely danceable and super uplifting, this track brings the summer back. wasting on the other hand is dark and has a dirty broken tech groove. this track may seem toolish but it s a monster when it hits.
